Asian House — Restaurant in Florida

After all the raving reviews on Facebook, we had to try this place! A variety of Chinese, Thai, and Sushi we are SO HAPPY with our experience that this will be our new go-to for sushi and Asian food in Fleming Island. My husband reported it's a tiny restaurant with a sushi bar and only 3-4 tables, so take out is their primary business. Hopefully one day they'll expand to a full fledged restaurant. We ordered 6 sushi rolls + Shrimp Pad Thai and with the coupon, got a free Krab Rangoon. Upon picking up our order, we were given a "Chef's Special." I truly wish I knew the name because I'd order it again! Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese, one had krab and I'm fairly certain another had pork. I didn't realize until later that the meats were different. There was a tempura aspect to it - but it was AMAZING! The Krab Rangoon is your run-of-the-mill-takeout, however this one I felt had more filling (of cream cheese and krab) than I had experienced at other places. We were given a side of Sweet 'n Sour sauce as well , which complimented it well. All our sushi was absolutely amazing. We tried the....Tampa, Red Cafe, Ocean, Volcano, Kiss of Fire, and Incredible. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the latter. I'm all about spicy tuna based, and most of these are. Nothing was too spicy - my 9 year old enjoyed them all! We were pleased with the Pad Thai as well. The shrimp sauce is light in color, but delicious. The sweetest part of our experience, was that when my husband picked up our order the lady who took our order and brought my husband our food, asked for his number and permission to call us later in the evening for a follow up. Sure enough, about 3 hours later she called. THAT is customer service!...

Like ALL the other reviews said - this place is fantastic!! My family comes to Fleming Island at least once a month. We unfortunately do not have good Chinese food options so we usually pick up take-out on our way into town. The last few times that we had with another unnamed take out place, we haven’t been 100% happy. So, I Googled places on our hour drive in. After seeing the excellent reviews left for Asian House, we had to give themselves try. And boy, are we glad we did. First of all the online menu and ordering capabilities were awesome. Easy to use and thorough enough you know what you’re ordering. We ordered Krab Rangoon, Boneless Pork Spareribs, Hot & Sour Soup, Sesame Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Every single last thing was soooo good!! Oh and they comped us some dumplings- hands down, best ones I’ve ever had!! Their customer service was unbeatable!! They recognized we were first timer’s when arrived to pick up our food. After a small chat we let them now we visit the area often. How about, they called me after we had plenty of time to get home and eat simply to check on us and see if we had any questions and if we we were pleased with our meal!! That’s it!!! I’m an Asian House fan for life!! This will definitely be our Chinese place...

I was honestly so excited to come here and had a good experience while ordering and waiting for the food. The staff was friendly and i was given bottled water on the house. I tried the Hawaii Roll, Highway 17 Roll, the Kung Pao Shrimp lunch combo, the Aged Dashi Tofu, and Fried Shumai. The hawaii roll and highway 17 roll weren't for me, so i will be coming back later to try the philly roll and crab roll as i prefer those more, but the shumai was delicious, as was the egg drop soup. The fried rice tasted decent and the shrimp in the kung pao was amazing. However, with every single dish there was a lack of seasoning. Everything had a very bland taste and it honestly made me so disappointed. I'm not sure if it was because a lot of the food was battered, but i feel like that shouldn't be an excuse. I'll definitely come back to this place in the future, if not just for the cheap crab rolls, philly rolls and they sell Ramune, then because i genuinely...
