BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse — Restaurant in Florida

Overall... "better than good" dining experience. We are not new to Bj's Restaurant and Brewhouse. We've eaten here several times and haven't had any huge issues until tonite. Let me start by saying our server, Aaliyah D, was/is exceptional at her job! I would give her 10 🌟s if I could. She has such a wonderful personality and the most beautiful smile! She is very attentive even during the dinner rush. She's very knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. She always aims to please. I truly appreciated her this evening eventhough our main courses were less than desirable. I was dining with my son and husband. I ordered the seasonal Frosty Lucky Ducky for a drink and it was sooo cute 😍 and yummy (see pic) and you could take the tub and ducky home for an extra $10! We ordered Root Beer Glazed Wings (all flats): 5🌟s, Chicken Pan-seared Potstickers: 4 🌟s, and the Chili Siracha Dip: 5🌟s for appetizers. Our main courses were the SmokeHouse Burger: 5 🌟s, The Jambalaya: 3 🌟s, and the Prime Rib Bundle: 3🌟s. My husband said the Jambalaya was seasoned perfectly but the rice was either undercooked or overcooked (lots of hard crunchy rice). Normally, when he orders this dish from here, he loves it, but, tonight, the rice was really bad. My Prime Rib, which I ordered medium rare w/ a side salad, Brussel Sprouts and the Rice Pilaf, came to the table very rare and cold to the touch. Took a bite of the Prime Rib and it was cold not even warm. 😞 When Aaliyah came to check on how our meals were, I asked her to literally touch the Prime Rib so she could feel the temperature. She said she would have them remake me a new one and I suggested that she have a manager feel the temp of the Prime Rib. She brought me a new plate and the Prime Rib was cooked better and was hot BUT when I took a bite of the rice, I was chewing alot of hard kernels. 😬 So, Aaliyah offered to have a manager come over. The manager on duty was Cameron. He was very nice. I explained my issues and he could see that the rice was overcooked/burnt. He brought me a new side of rice but when I took a bite while he was still there...it was a little better but still had hard kernels. So, he offered a different side and I chose a loaded baked potato and it was perfect but they were busy and by the time I got the potato, my Prime Rib was cold. So, I decided to take my meal home. Btw, the Brussel sprouts were good. I chose the Starwberry Shortcake Pazookie (bundled with my Prime Rib meal) and added caramel drizzle and chocolate chips: 5 🌟s 😋. My husband and son shared the Hot Fudge Brownie Pazookie: 5 🌟s. I do recommend Bj's Brewhouse for good family dining with a nice atmosphere and a variety of food to choose from. Even with the issues we had with our main courses, our dining experience was great because of Aaliyah and Cameron. I appreciated their excellent customer service. We did not ask for any comps on our meals (which they did offer) but I said no. I did ask if I could take the cute little tub and ducky home instead and Cameron agreed 😉👍. We still recommend this place for great family dining and we will definitely be back again bc we do love the food here. And we will be asking for Aaliyah when...

Went here on 06/06/24 at around 10 pm. right off the bat we were sat at a big table with one other man sitting. this was not a community table, no reason you seat two separate parties at the same table. the man had to leave and go to the bar.

next up, our server was KACI. absolutely horrible experience. to begin the whole experience with her, she never gave me the lemon that i requested for my water. everyone else at the table also got waters and she came to us “checking on drinks” at least 4 times. felt like she was implying that we should get some drinks that cost money on? idk. food was average, her service was average at this point. nothing special but enough for me to feel alright at the place. then comes time for us to order desert. we did and after what feels like an eternity of waiting (at least a 20 minute wait), she finally came out with our three pizookies. when it came time to give her our rewards, she conveniently took another 10 minutes to apply it and bring us a new recipt. this is where it went down. when she came back to the table, she didn’t utter a word and just started handing and even throwing receipts at some people in our party. once she was done throwing receipts at us, she proceeded to tell us “some of you guys had multiple accounts and that’s why it took me time to find the right one with the rewards”. my email was brand new and the phone number was my mom’s which has never been used. she comes back with the final recipt and hands it to us. doesn’t say goodnight or have a good one, just says “alright” then leaves.

Kaci, love, you do not own the restaurant and you do not get manager wage to be acting like one. tips are your source of income and this attitude isn’t going to get you any. you need to seriously consider getting another job. i always tip 22-25% but that did it for me and she missed out on any tip at all. i have never EVER tipped $0 but this girl needs a little attitude check and a little re-training as well.

Kaci, lose the attitude and be a server like your job title states. don’t try to...

Had BJ's food for the first time at my boyfriends 2022 work Christmas party. They had it catered from BJ's and we loved it so much I decided right then I wanted to visit the restaurant. Fast forward and finally got to go here today. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes max for a table and were told they were having issues with the water so no ice water or fountain Sodas so I got their Root Beer to try which was a mistake as I did not like it at all, it tasted diet to me so switched it up for a half and half iced tea which was perfect.

I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Cous Cous Mac & Cheese....the Mac & Cheese was a $2.65 up charge but well worth it....it has fresh basil and bacon on top with so much delicious yummy cheesy goodness. Their mashed potatoes taste homemade and are seasoned perfectly and super delish. I can't say enough good things about their crispy and oh so yummy Parmesan Crusted Chicken....I have been craving it ever since the Christmas party!! I had enough leftover for another full tomorrow as sides are plentiful and you get 2 nice size pieces of chicken with the meal. There is like a butter lemon sauce on the chicken woth fresh basil and sun dried tomatoes.

Boyfriend got the baby back ribs and tri tip combo...I tasted his tri tip and boy was it fantastic....so flavorful and super tender, loved it. I didn't try the ribs but he said they were average. He also got a Caesar Sald which I tried and it was amazing....the dressing was extra good. And he got the Mozzarella and Tomato salad also and it was great also....highly recommend.

Waitress was nice but kinda slow. Was glad she told us to download the app and sign up for rewards as it earned us right away a free pizookie which we ordered to go the Cookies & Cream one...haven't tried it yet but it sure does smell divine and they give you a nice little container of to go ice cream too.

Will definitely be back, can't wait...it's now one of my top favorite...
