Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Blaze. I had visited them when they first opened, and while my husband enjoyed their cauliflower pizza, I, being the "curious" wife that I am, had to take a small bite lol. To my surprise, it was quite bomb. However, as someone who considers themselves a bit of a pizza fan, being from NYC originally I never really found myself in that part of town for pizza. When I started cutting back on carbs, I remembered that Blaze offered a Keto Pizza, and I was excited to give it a try. I placed my order online, but right from the start, things went downhill. There was a complete lack of greeting when I arrived, and to make matters worse, the box they had on the shelf was greasy and messy. Even the receipt was sharing in the grease. Moving on to the pizza itself, it was absolutely awful. The tiny bit of dough I managed to taste had a nice flavor, but a whopping 95% of it was burnt, and the worst part was that it actually tasted burnt. The toppings weren't bad, and usually I don't mind a little crispness, but this was far beyond that. It was giving burnt flatbread vibes more than anything else. Furthermore, the sauce was haphazardly drizzled on top, resulting in a pooling mess rather than a proper distribution. My daughter is 15 and has a severe gluten allergy (Celiac Disease). She hasn't had pizza in months and begged me to let her get a gluten free pizza from BLAZE as she remembers loving their regular pizza prior to her diagnosis. I was terrified!!! I'm sure I stressed out the staff and they were probably thinking....if she has such an allergy why the heck come in here for PIZZA ...DUH. BUT she's 15 and I'm trying to be able to allow her to have a treat every now and then so she doesn't feel like her world is too miserable...I know dramatic.... but I do what I can! ANYWHOOO. The staff at Blaze was AMAZING!!!! They were so kind and understanding. They changed their gloves multiple** times and took out new toppings, using new clean utensils along the way and cooked her pizza on a special mat (after thoroughly washing it) on the opposite side away from all the other pizza's. Poor customer service/management. Went to this location for lunch today for curbside pickup. It clearly states on my receipt it’s for curbside. When I get there, no one answers the phone. I spent 5 minutes calling two different numbers: one that’s on their parking spot sign and the one that was given in my email for when I got there to call the number and let them know I was outside. When no one answers, I finally go inside to a not so busy restaurant. One of the workers was just putting my order on the pickup table where they put orders on for walk in/pickup. Clearly they had no intentions on bringing me out my order. On top of that I get home to see that the pizza was burnt on the bottom. A waste of money and not good customer service/management. You’re better off going to a different location.
