Brown Bag Deli of Tampa — Restaurant in Florida

The prices are a bit too high for the quality and service. I do like a couple things there but for the most part I only go there as a last resort. For example; they use iceberg lettuce instead of romaine but still charge about 6 or 7 bucks for a salad depending on which one you get. Iceberg has no nutritional value so 7 bucks for a salad does not make sense. The philly sandwich is mostly all bun and you lose the meat in the bite. We had to remove most of the bun from the sandwich to eat it. I've been there when they were busy and they didn't get my order correct and they over charged me. The guy did give me back the difference in the over charge which was nice but just being on point would have been better. One thing I do like is the place is clean and I don't have to worry about what might be in my food so I'm giving them an additional star for that fact alone. I think they need more tech for ordering because you have to call and the line is always busy. I think they need more staff during rush hour just for taking orders. Been passing this place for months wanting to stop and get a bite because I would see cars in the morning and then the afternoon in the parking lot, I finally decided to stop there today I walked in saw a woman at the counter she looked at me and then looked away and walked away so I went to use the bathroom and wash my hands and when I came back out I stepped up to the counter where there was an older gentleman with white hair I grabbed the menu and as soon as I looked up at him he walked away no greeting or anything, the last place I want to eat is somewhere where the people who are making the food and are in charge give off bad energy without even greeting their customers glad I passed it up after reading the reviews I see it wasn't really...

First, I love this place. Usually get a Telex and gotta ave my brownie. Now, for the haters that simply don't get it. This is a family owned and operated fast paced deli in the middle of an industrial park. Owners are from from Long Island and you'd be a little grumpy too being a Islanders fan (sorry bro, had to go there). I have also heard some of you negative posters being absolutely disrespectful to these hard working people. So, lighten up Francis.
