Canopy Road Café — Restaurant in Florida

We popped in on Saturday morning after a visit to the farmers market. It was busy and a bit loud from all the conversations but a friendly feel to the place. We got a booth quickly, no wait. They offer outside seating with fans, just to humid for us. The waiter was great with quick service of water and solid recommend for the Philly breakfast wrap with a side of Chipotle sauce...so much tasty gooey food on one plate. They offer Prosecco with your choice of fruit juice..we just got fresh OJ. I got the traditional hashbrowns with bacon ham cheese and 3 eggs. Delicious with crisp hashbrowns...again so much food we should have shared one plate. I took home half and had it next AM still tasty. Husband and I don’t get to get out much as we have a new-ish infant baby but we stopped here for breakfast and had a bit of a wait which was to be expected but it was so doggone hot in the dining room I thought I was just having a hot flash but turns out the AC in the main dining was broken. Our way out I noticed an employee, seemingly back of the house was urinating behind a tree/bush which was highly inappropriate as there are children all around and also the ac in the bathrooms were working so I was a bit confused why this was happening. Food was mediocre, the GF pancakes tasted stale which is a strange way of describing food but it just had an “old” taste to it. Service was great but food and the weird urinating incident...

Much more expense than nearby breakfast places. They do not season their grits while cooking at all, no salt or pepper, so they are bland and horrible. When I mentioned it to them. I was told it was because they have elderly customers and they're not allowed to season them. Went again today for the avocado toast. It's now avocado spread which is not good. Also some random customer (assume he's a regular) who was eating walked back in the kitchen while my food was getting prepared...I don't want a random guy...
