China 1 — Restaurant in Florida

I just wanted to praise you guys and say how impressed I was with your pandemic safety measures! By far, the best I've seen for a restaurant, thus far.

I've been ordering from China 1 since I moved to this area, and are my go-to Chinese food place. Always have been consistent, friendly, on time, and most importantly, great food!

I also think it's awesome that they will include free food in your order if it's over a certain amount (usually a large soup, but I've received entrees marked "free" before too). Not confirmed, but my theory is that they do this sometimes with the orders of customers who ordered food but never paid/came to pick it up. TBH I walked in and wasn't expecting much (the plaza looks older and is a bit run down), but the inside of the restaurant was very clean! I had the shrimp curry lunch special (at 3:00pm, the end of the lunch rush) and was pleasantly surprised! Very fresh shrimp, the vegetables were crisp and large. I had egg drop soup - it was also good. I will eat there again.

To those who have reviewed and complained of poor service- as a former minimum wage worker....You reap what you sow.

I don't normally review Chinese takeouts as they are all much the same, but feel compelled to review this location as their ingredients are fresh and, they follow direction. I've recently had a problem with salt (high blood pressure) and knowing Chinese is exceptionally high in sodium, I asked for my dinner to be made with no salt or msg. My food was made with fresh vegetables, large shrimp, bay scallops and thinly sliced chicken, It was DEFINATELY lacking in salt as requested.
