Cold Cow — Restaurant in Florida

The owners discriminating against people with servicing animals. You’re allowed to walk inside get your order then have to get out. I have a service dog (I’ve had them over 13 years) when I walked in there they said nothing to me. But when I went to go sit down, they told me I was not allowed to sit inside. That I could sit outside at those tables(It’s hot here in Florida) my family can stay inside but I can not. They were very rude about it. When I tried to educate they didn’t want to listen. Just got more mad.

the owner is Supposedly allergic to dogs(Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a person with a service animal cannot be excluded from a restaurant solely because another patron has allergies or a fear of dogs). The funny thing is I’ve been in there several times before never had an issue. They did not change owners. It’s the same people. They just decided to make their own rules and segregate Service dog teams. The reason I am writing this now is because they did the same thing to my friend who has a service dog also. This is making being disabled harder. I would understand if My dog acted out or something in anyway But we were just minding our own business.

I will not go back and I will be letting everyone know what they did and how they excluded the disabled...

Super disappointed after a visit to Cold Cow today. We're local, but live on the island so didn't used to make it over often, until our daughter started karate. We're now in the area 2-3 times a week, so we try to stop in 1-2 times each week.

We've been about 5 times in the past month and no one is outwardly friendly but they're not unkind either, just sort of meh.

Today, we come in and there's a couple in front of us getting their ice cream scooped, no one in line behind them, so my kiddo chooses her ice cream and we wait in line. Meanwhile the literal FIVE people behind the counter mill about doing things, making eye contact with me but not one person said hello, not one person smiled, not one person said "we'll be with you in a minute". It was so bizarre. Eventually, one of the young ladies begrudgingly took my child's order.

The selection is great, pricing is wonderful, flavors are tasty... but might be trying somewhere a little more upbeat and...

This is the ONLY ice cream place in St. John's County that consistently has excellent customer service & delicious ice cream. The flavors, sizes, and pricing are easily distinguishable, so if there's a line you can comfortably figure out your order. There's just so many ice cream flavors that it provides numerous opportunities to try out various combinations.

Cold Cow ignited my partner's love with ice cream. He's not super in sweets, but whenever we're in the mood for dessert Cold Cow is always our number one choice. My partner & I go every chance we get. When he's driving home from work, he'll stop in, pick it up, and bring it home to surprise me with it.
