Curious Cat Bakery — Restaurant in Florida

The other day, I was telling my husband how impossible it is to find vegan croissants... barely anywhere in the US has them and even in Paris, the last time I went I only found one restaurant that made them.

So I googled on a whim and found Curious Cat Bakery... in my own town! I went on a bit of a gluttonous spree and ordered 1 box of the sweet croissant sampler and 1 box of the savory sampler. We couldn't wait to get home to try them... we thought we'd have one in the car but that quickly turned to four. These croissants are BETTER than any croissants I've ever had in Paris (vegan or non-vegan). Seriously, WAY BETTER. They are well-balanced with a mix of flaky and doughy, have a nice buttery flavor, and the sweet croissants have a serotonin-inspiring sweet kick without leaving a cloying aftertaste. They are the perfect amount of everything in every way.

The owner is really kind... when we met her to pick up our croissants, I could tell that she genuinely cared about our enjoyment of the croissants and she even asked us to give her our feedback after we had a chance to try them. I emailed her my feedback but felt compelled to write this review because these croissants need to be shared with the world. Seriously, they're THAT delicious.

Please, for the love of all things good in the world, order yourself a box or two of these croissants right now. You deserve to have this...

Ok so I don’t want to score this place low because I didn’t actually get to try any of their pastries. Here’s the thing, it’s a very confusing place because it’s not a place at all. I thought CC Bakery was inside this other bakery, but it’s not. You have to order online with the company and then you can pick it up here 48 hrs afterwards. Unfortunately, after trying to go here twice and talking to the staff at the Fresh Connection, I didn’t have two more days to wait for an order (only visiting). And I didn’t want to have to buy a dozen of pastries or a whole pie like I saw available on the website. I would love to support this vegan business but it was very complicated. I know he mentioned they tried to update Google but it isn’t working so I wanted to make sure I explained it for others. We have been working with Natalia and selling her amazing pastries since our store opened in early 2020. The croissants are indulgent, the quality is top notch and perfectly consistent, and her customer service is amazing.
