Dino's Drive-In — Restaurant in Florida

The first time we stopped in it was about 80 degrees perfect weather, and did we have fun. They need 50s diner music. I love this place. The servers are all wonderful as they hustle to take your order from a hanging sign or the monthly special of chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and rice and green beans. I love this dish. 😀 eating in my car isn't ideal but the food is good and it's cheap. We try something new every time we go anywhere so we have had a lot of new things. Salads are great, not bagged lettuce. So, msg isn't keeping it fresh. The cheeseburger and fries are enough for 2 people 😋 the whipped potatoes are so good that they are perfect. You get a lot, and you leave full and have some extra money leftover. The fish sandwich is my Dad's favorite fish he's 93 so this is high praise from a man who bought a home on a lake and every weekend we went to the fish place Dinos is far better than anything else. The girls serving up the food dishes understand we want to eat, and we want it now. They are friendly and efficient. They all are nice and all beautiful. They are well trained.they all help each other.give Dinos a chance, but the onion rings are too greasy for my stomach. Look in the different color food coupon books Dinos is in there and so is his entire menu. For Dino's, I give them 5 stars. They are great in their class of restaurants. The place is clean and organized. They stay in their lane and do it well. Don't expect a steak and baked potato when you are at a drive-in. They have tasty fresh food, and prices are good and fair. Crinkle fries are hit and miss for me. Sometimes there good, most of the time there not. Well that's not the case here at Dino's! There crinkle fries are deliciously seasoned with a little kick, and perfectly crispy golden brown. Most of the food here has been nearly perfected since the restaurants opening back in 1968. This eclectic drive-in will take you back to a different era, and the prices might too. I can't tell you the last time I saw a kids meal that was under $5, well here all the kids meals are $3.50, but that doesn't mean that they skimp on the food, in fact just the opposite. All of the kids meals are a generous serving with a bag of fries, a treat, a drink, and a toy, packed in a sack with a hand drawn picture on it! The regular meals are just as generous. Today I had the bacon cheese burger, and my wife had the pork tenderloin sandwich, both with fries and slaw. The kids all had the six piece chicken nuggets. The first thing the kids said is, these nuggets are like McDonald's but better! My burger is similar to a smash burger, well seasoned and well cooked, topped with lettuce and tomato. The pork tenderloin sandwich was a golden brown fried patty, topped lettuce, tomato, and pickles. My family of 5 was out for less than $30 which is a feat for any fast food restaurant, but what made it even better was the food and the excellent friendly service. My husband ordered two grilled chicken salads yesterday, when he got them home. The tomatoes and cucumbers were no good to the point You can smell the rot of both of them. I took pictures but I didn't want to put this all on here. The girl that I talked to last night told me come back up and they will handle it, well. We came back up today and we asked to speak to Faye. She seemed pretty mad about the idea that I told her we received rotten tomatoes and cucumbers on the salads. Even when we got the other ones tonight it happened again and any other time I come up,She's very nice and kind and whole conversation but she was very mad because we told her about the cucumbers and tomatoes. They always tell you if it's a problem to let them know and we will take care of it. But that wasn't the case this time as much as I go here and get food This is my first time ever feeling this way so I won't be returning because of the way I was treated. She wouldn't even let us talk to her ,she just kept saying she know it's fresh because she's here all the time and I understand But maybe someone didn't check all the vegetables to make sure that they weren't old because I don't eat old spoiled vegetables from nowhere.
