El Gran Taco Loco — Restaurant in Florida

I visited this location two consecutive days prior to today within the last 30 days. My order was the same on all three occasions; however today my order was taken by a different staff member than the prior visits.

The food is great. No complaints.

My poor review is a reflection of my experience. This is an all cash food truck and the menu does not have prices. I was told by the adult male at my two prior visits my total was $17. That is $4.25 per taco. Today my total was $12 for the same order, but placed with a female. The same male (from prior visits) presented my food when it was ready today, which gave me the opportunity to ask what is the price per taco. He quickly replied $3 each. I shared my prior visit I was charged $17 for same exact order by him. The explanation provided was maybe we thought you ordered a drink.

Well perhaps one time, but not two different visits on different days. The only resolution present was a “hook up” next time.

It’s doesn’t matter why he selected me to charge an additional $5.00 per visit. While I have no record since it’s a cash transaction, this is fundamentally theft.

The tacos are delicious, and I got 12 for under $40, which is a great deal. The outdoor seating isn't anything special, but the service is usually good, and the food is freshly made in a reasonable time. They're conveniently located next to a store where you can buy drinks and other items at a fair price. However, despite these positives, one is left wondering why it only has 4 stars.
