This place used to be so good. I’ve placed over 50+ orders with this place since they’ve opened, yes I counted. I LOVED coming here, the staff, atmosphere and most of all, the food was AMAZING. However, in the last few months the service has gone down substantially to a point I’m looking for a new Birria spot as I’m just over the constant issues here. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but with the recent change things have gone down hill. There is no organization and it’s apparent the staff is not fully trained to handle an array of customers or keeping track of orders. Multiple times in the last few months I’ve placed orders online, and when I arrive at my scheduled time, the orders aren’t ready. Sometimes even having to wait 20-30 minutes for my food that I placed hours ago. The ladies there are apologetic but clearly are unable to push the staff to change the procedures already put in place. What’s the purpose of ordering online if it’s not ready when you arrive? I’ve also noticed a serious decline in the reviews on Google as the rating use to be much higher, 4.4. Now I see I’m not the only one noticing this. I’m hoping things change as I was a dedicated once a week customer. Now, maybe once a month to two because I don’t want to deal with the inconvenience of the orders not...
Read moreAMAZING! 3rd visit this week. Food is awesome. I was cautious due to a few reviews but it was great! Even as they had to correct my order one day. As a black customer I wasn’t disrespected and I hope that other persons experience was a misunderstanding as I wasn’t helped or approached my a few of the staff I personally think it’s because they aren’t fluent in English but i love this little spot!
They need to announce order numbers like el carbon tho.
Review update. I’ve changed my review to one star because I watched the girl checking tickets and checking plates eat as drink while she was in the kitchen. She did not have gloves on and her nails were not clean. I saw her touch the food of others but was hoping she didn’t touch mine as idc bout nobody plate but mine. AnywAy she did. I was repulsed. Asked for an immediate refund after seeing it. I payed on my card and another employee gave me my money minus the tax. I asked for it looked back up and she’s was back in the kitchen glovelsss touching food and checking plates. I told the girl at the table giving me my refund she should tell her to put some gloves on at the very least and she got slick.
Really liked the place and the food is good but pre and mid pandemic hygiene should come first. Never...
Read moreIf this looks like a messy blob of taco, well that’s because it is. I’ve been following the folks here on their ig and was excited to finally be in the area to try their tacos. I pulled up to a bustling parking lot, with a crowd huddled around the two trucks piling out Mexican food at rapid pace. I went for a chorizo, al pastor and pair of the birria photo’d here. Upon first glance it appeared I was in for a treat, but unfortunately it went downhill from here. Now I’m not sure if it was an off night due to the heavy crowd and expedition of the food, but these were imposed to eat. I mean that almost literally. Even with two shells (which I really dislike on a taco, completely takes away from the taste of the meat/filling), they completely fell apart rendering me to use my hands to eat them in greasy mess. This applied to all of them, which was quite the disappointment. The birria shells should have a nice crisp which complements the tenderness of the beef and gooey goodness of the cheese. The chorizo was half grease half mushy meat. I feel like they have more to offer, but I can’t say I’ll return...
