It pains me to write this review. However, it needs to be said. I have been a fan of fire walks since 2008 when I moved into the neighborhoods near Ridgeview HS. It was great. It's been great up until this year in fact. Always make an order with a few items so I can enjoy it for a few days. I always request some of the items to be vegetable only with extra vegetables and no broccoli. They never gave me an issue about it. No I'm not vegetarian, there's just some menu items I prefer with just vegetables and no meat. The last three times I've ordered from them have been subpar. Broccoli in everything even though I asked no broccoli and said I was willing to pay for extra vegetables. It was almost like they were in spite of it considering there was more broccoli than anything else. The meal was over an hour late even though I was quoted 30 to 40 minutes. I was really sick at the time, so I asked the delivery person what took so long and they said they hadn't even started my order when she arrived. She had to wait an extra 20 minutes just for it to be completed, because the husband and wife are yelling at each other when she came inside to pick up my order. I gave her some extra cash for the extra weight considering she makes her living doing these deliveries. When I called to complain about the extra broccoli (Even though I paid extra for extra veg, no broccoli), I was transferred to another phone number. An unidentified person answered and when I started speaking to them I thought at first they were a woman. But then, It dawned on me that this did not sound like the lady at the store that I spoke to earlier. It was a young boy. Their freaking son! They transferred me, an adult customer with a complaint to their son who is not an adult. That's extremely unprofessional. Sad to say, they've lost my business. I'll be moving on to one that's a little bit further up the road but has been consistent. I don't know what's happened with this business. But they need to get things straightened out fast or they're going to lose...
Read moreThe cirst time we were here the food was amazing. Some of the best chinese we have ever had. With amazing customer service. However tonight was something completely different. Guess it has something to do with the difference in time frame. First time was at about 6 at night and tonight was about 9:30. We ordered the same exact meal as well. Vegitable lowmein fried dumplings eggrolls and sushi ( juguar rolls and dianamite rolls). The fried dumpling and eggrolls were extremely undercooked......altough my 2 dogs loved them. Then you have the vegitable lowmein which tasted to have been sitting out for some time......definitly nothing close to being fresh. The chinese cookies were so stale ......they reminded me of eating paper. Now the sushi......i got the juguar rolls. Although nothing close to what was recieved the first time..... They were still adaquate......sorry. But spent way too much for barely edible. Dont think we will be back anytime soon or if at all. How ever the high point was seeing the 10yr old boy....guess he was there son...working the register and helping to make the sushi behind the counter. Lets just say it was an intresting night. Also tonight is the 15th...
