Good Spirits Lounge — Restaurant in Florida

My family and I drove almost 2 hours to eat here. We heard really good things about this place! Especially the fried mushrooms! We met a couple friends there, sat down with them and hear someone say can I get you something to drink…..I turned and looked at her and said do you have a drink menu she said no I said what do you guys have she said whatever you can think of off the top of your head. (I don’t do cocktails much that’s why I asked for a drink menu) so I just ordered a jack and a coke, as she was walking away I looked over at the bar and clear as day there was a DRINK MENU in the napkin holder on the bar……why lie about that?? Anyway we go to order the fried mushrooms…oh they are out of those so we ask for a bloomin onion out of that too… finally settled on the corn nuggets…not good at all. The whole time there we had about three or four different waitresses taking our drink orders and food orders. So we decide to order a sandwich to go I got the French dip my husband got the heart attack burger both were 16 dollars each with no sides. We ask for the check and was because there were four different waitresses taking out orders they over charged us on our drinks I only had 5 and my husband had 4 was charged 6 and 8. They didn’t fix the problem. The waitress I believe her name was Amy was by far the rudest person didn’t care about anything. Got home took one bite of the French dip and it was the saltiest thing I ever tasted, husbands burger was mediocre. Will never ever be...

Went there today for lunch. Not that busy. Brought another couple with us like normal. Ordered onion rings as an appetizer. They came 43 minutes later. Order 4 other dinners which came 25 minutes later. On both occasions my wife had to chase down the server to get our food. After our 2 hour lunch was finished paid using a credit card. When getting the total for the meal the amount didn't add up. Went back to the restaurant and spoke to Amy? She explained that the total was right and the menu prices on line were not right. Found out they charge extra for the dip for the onion rings. Charge what would have to be around 8% on the CC fee to make the total add up. Wow! Have taken around 60 people there over the years because of the atmosphere and food. Last group was 11 and the total was around $320. All I can say is it will be my last visit. I will find a new go to for a place to entertain. Have a couple businesses in Okeechobee. If I treated my guests like that I would be OUT OF BUSINESSES. Drove over and met friends here for early dinner. The rudest person you ever met came to the table to take out order. Good thing was we didn't see her until it was time to leave. Called for her numerous times. Once she and two other waitresses were taking a shot while we were calling them. One girl did come over that was on the other side of the place. Don't let them take your cups. Keep them so you know how much you owe them. Wife had 5 drinks and I had 4. Was charged for 6 and 8......ordered an heart attack burger for $16. It was mediocre at best. By the way. That's all it was. A burger. French dip the same. You have to order side for $10 a piece of you want anything with your food. The rude one then proceeded to argue our bill with us. Worst service I do believe I have ever had. Just my experience this past Sunday...
