Tried to sign up for the rum tasting 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Was told there was space but they wouldnât set up for another person. Pretty much sums up the opposite of what is expected from Disney. Hope the the new CEO renews the service that used to be standard from Disney.
Edit: as my family and I entered the nice restaurant for our thanksgiving meal a manager attempted to address the above review with me. 1) with family with me heading into what is supposed to be a nice thanksgiving meal is not the time for this, 2) stating that it takes time to set up is not an excuse. When folks show up to tastings on the cruise ships without reservations, the cast makes accommodations. We do not do that as reservations are requested and should be respected by guests but I have seen it several times. In this case, we hurried to make reservations ahead of time but weâre denied. If it takes more than 15 minutes to set up for a tasting , that reflects poorly on the staff. So, while I appreciate that a manager attempted to address the concern, it was handled poorly by the manager which only frustrated me because I was not going to address these frustrations in front of 2 other staff and my entire family.    Read moreI think this is one of the most legendary Disney bars in the world. Itâs not connected to the S.E.A. lore of the Parks, but could be. The patio overlooking the ocean is sublime. If that patio was in the Parks, Disney would be charging $299 for a drink party up there every night. But here, you can just walk up and enjoy. Our bartender, Stephanie, took care of us two nights. She made excellent drinks (try her Old Fashioned) and was very caring if we liked them.
