Ground Up Coffee — Restaurant in Florida

I've driven past this coffee stand MANY times, and I finally decided to drop in, and give it a shot....and I'm glad I did. Their iced coffee is VERY good, and I now see why this place is so popular with the locals. Every time I've gone by during the early morning hours there was always a long line of people. The service was great...nice, personable interactions with each customer...a simple, but effective approach that just works well 😎

I ordered the Oregon Cheesecake specialty iced coffee which was flavored with white chocolate, raspberry, vanilla, and hazelnut....it became an instant favorite. I will definitely drop in from time to time to treat myself, and try some of their other flavored brews. They even carry a variety of fruit flavored iced refreshers that you can get with, or without caffeine.... something else I plan on trying one day. I highly recommend giving this place a chance if you ever get the opportunity...you just might find a new favorite...

Hands-down the best coffee in Central Florida. I do not live in Mt Dora but will stop by when I am in the area. I stopped by with my boyfriend on a whim and ordered the Bear Country. It was so good that I thought about that drink for a month when I would grab a coffee in my area. It is tough to find coffee that isn't super bitter or acidic while still retaining flavor, but this coffee went above and beyond. I was finally in Mt Dora again today and could grab a coffee from Ground Up. It was just as good as the first time, and the owners are super friendly. I will be in the area more frequently during the week and love that they have a reward card. I can't wait to come back and...

Katie and Jesse are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet! All the other employees are also really nice and friendly. The coffee is also so good. Ive tried a few different ones and havent had one I didn’t like. I love Supporting small businesses as a small business owner myself and I’ll always be a customer of theirs. They have memorized pretty much every customers order which just shows they actually pay attention and care a lot. 5 stars all...
