Alright.
Bit of context; my wife and I flew in from Michigan this past Tuesday (8/30). We flew in to celebrate our anniversary and our honeymoon (been married 5 years and never got a chance to have one). We'd been to a piano bar in Grand Rapids in Michigan at one point and loved it so decided to try this place our second night; Wednesday.
We were met with nothing short of absolute courtesy and love. The staff here know how to provide a good time from the bouncers to the servers to the musicians.
Our first night at Howl at the Moon we were a bit reserved and it seemed the staff picked up on it and helped us to have a great night. So great that Friday night we went back a third night.
Our second night we let loose and had an even better time.
Tonight, Saturday night we came back with friends that are local who'd otherwise never been. They also loved it and swore they'd be coming back.
The drinks are phenomenal. They're fun, tasty and quick to be served.
The music is insane. I wish I caught all the musicians names but I've forgotten. Be that as it may it's incredibly shocking that they dont make millions doing whay they do. Back to back hits that are most times done better than the original artist. Meanwhile, they're playing the instruments and singing (a huge talent). They do songs per request and knew almost everything we through at them (and we had some CURVEBALLS).
We were blessed to be served by several people. Ashley and Kendall were extremely talented, sweet and knew how to make us feel at home. It seemed effortless. There were several other servers who helped us and I'm so sorry to them that I can't recall names. These people are diamonds, and extremely rare to come by.
Our second and third nights we were welcomed back with "good to see you again" and "I'm so happy to see you again". This made my wife and I feel like VIPs. Even the doormen and bathroom attendant recognized us and welcomed us back-so much so that they gave us hugs and talked with us-not your typical how are you liking your trip conversation either but rather engaging and personable conversation.
I got the joy of speaking with almost everyone there and each person was as warm and inviting as the last.
I could go on and on and on. If you're visiting, or are local-this is a great place to spend your night. 10/10 I'd recommend.
To everyone we were able to speak with; thank you. Truly; thank you-SO much. You all helped my wife and I to have the best time of our lives. Keep doing what you do. You are appreciated and cherished. We will be back next year-hope to see...
Read moreI tried to book my husbands birthday party with 13 guests here with a birthday special and open bar. when I emailed the email that was listed on the website a sales rep. replied with a package option completely unrelated to my needs and when I asked what was appropriate for my group size sent me a completely different set of package options. I immediately chose one I liked I only had one question about it and I emailed back to ask my question before putting my deposit. We started speaking Thursday he replied Friday afternoon and I answered him back shortly after. I never got a response. The party was for Sunday evening, Saturday afternoon I still had not heard from the sales rep and sent another email asking to put a deposit to reserve the space as I was worried about the closing gap of time..no response. When I call I get an automated machine that says their offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday. I never got an email saying the sales rep would be unavailable Saturday and Sunday and never got an email to ask if I wanted to finalize for the party before they left on Friday. So even though they knew it was for Sunday they left the office on Friday not having finalized or reserved the space and if I wanted to go there each person would have to pay to get in and we would all have to hope to get 15 seats together, which as I understand would have been unlikely and the added birthday options would not have been applied. This is one of the most unprofessional sales staff I have ever dealt with and I will never even consider to take people here again for any occasion. I would give it zero stars if I could, I never even got to experience the actual entertainment, drinks or anything and it is already the worst experience I have ever had. I had to scramble to find another venue with available space for our party, which was very hard within 48hr notice and it has ended up costing me a great deal more, I wish I had never attempted to book this place.
Thank you...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to celebrate my friend's birthday at the incredible Howl of the Moon, and I must say, it was an unforgettable night filled with laughter, music, and plenty of good times.
From the moment we stepped foot inside, the vibrant atmosphere and energetic crowd set the tone for an amazing evening. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home, ensuring a seamless start to our celebration.
The live music at Howl of the Moon was simply outstanding. The talented musicians rocked the stage with their impressive performances, playing all our favorite tunes and even taking requests from the audience. Their ability to engage and interact with the crowd created a lively and entertaining environment like no other.
But what truly made this experience exceptional was the enthusiastic dueling pianos act. The pianists showcased their incredible talents, effortlessly belting out chart-topping hits across genres. The way they seamlessly blended songs together and effortlessly harmonized left us in awe. Their energy was infectious, and we found ourselves happily singing along, not wanting the night to end.
Our waitress was particularly delightful, continuously making sure our glasses were filled and taking care of our requests promptly with a smile.
If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, let loose with friends, and enjoy exceptional live music, Howl of the Moon is an absolute must-visit. It's a place where the musical talents, welcoming staff, and vibrant atmosphere combine to create an experience...
