iCafe de Paris is a hidden gem nestled in the middle of international drives notorious icon Park. While I am not the parks biggest fan for a number of reasons, this cafe made the trip to the park worth it. I made the mistake of making a reservation at another restaurant in icon Park for my birthday. My partner and I drove for about 30 minutes to get to the restaurant from our house. I picked the restaurant specifically, since we had visited it in the past, with a totally different experience (which was about 9 months ago. The restaurant I am referring to is called 'The Sweet Factory', also inside Icon Park-also on International Dr in Orlando, FL. Please use those search terms to find my detailed review). To sum it up, we left that restaurant without even ordering because the service was so incredibly bad. I was feeling pretty hopeless after deciding to leave as we walked around Icon Park. We checked a few other restaurants that appeared to still be hoppin' with people, yet everywhere we went, the kitchen was closed or they just weren't seating anyone else for the night (it was only 10:30pm). I couldn't believe we traveled so far for a night that was seemingly ruined. I chose the wrong establishment to give the honor of celebrating my life with (again,it was my birthday), but, things ended up taking a turn for the better when we came across this little cafe. It has a cute, romantic, coffeeshop-in-Paris type of vibe. It has outdoor seating as well as indoor, and a menu that can satisfy just about anyone -but especially those with a sweet tooth. They have an extensive crepe selection, gelato, milkshakes, desserts, pastries, smoothies, even sandwiches and salads. I tried one of their frozen alcoholic beverages -a Pina Colada with a twist of strawberry (usually my favorite,). Unfortunately, I almost gagged after the first sip. I DO NOT recommend their alcohol menu. It was probably the worst Pina Colada I've ever had! But the service made up for it. The staff graciously allowed me to trade it in for a caramel frappuccino, which was delectable! We also indulged in the key lime pie, chocolate torte, and Oreo cheesecake. We needed bottles of water after that sugar rush! The coffee was the best part. In all honesty, the desserts were OK, not bad... But nothing super great. I am willing to bet that their crepes are to die for, though! The servers were all very friendly, the atmosphere was on point, and even though the dessert wasn't 5 star, the whole ambiance of the cafe saved my birthday. I am very grateful for the staff that served us, and turned my night around. I definitely recommend this place for coffee, breakfast, or a romantic evening.

Food taste and presentation was definitely below average, especially for a place around a tourist area with the name Paris in it. I truly do not like leaving negative reviews but I was too unhappy with this place. My family and I go out to eat quite a lot and are blessed enough to be able to go to decent places. But 37$ for just two plates (cardboard literally with plastic forks), 20$ of which were for a “french style” omelette that had no flavor and little to no toppings. They charged me 4$ for adding ham and at most had one slice cut into pieces. I don’t mind paying good money for food but this is almost disrespectful. The place was basically empty and they messed up the order, people ordering the same stuff that arrived after us got their food first. My omelette order was turned in and 10 minutes past and my wife’s avocado toast was still not out yet. I also noticed that all other omelettes brought bread, when I asked the server she said “oh my manager forgot, she never works so she just got it wrong” I still asked for it, we waited and it never arrived so we left. One error here or there is no big deal but everything together made the experience just plain bad and I do not recommend. Food had no proper seasoning and avocado toast wasn’t toasted and seemed that the salad was just thrown on there.

A Parisian Nightmare at ICON Park If you’ve ever dreamed of sipping overpriced coffee while munching on subpar crepes, then look no further than this Paris-themed café at ICON Park—where the only thing French is the attitude of the staff! Upon entering, I was immediately transported to a world of disappointment, as the ambiance screamed “Paris” but the food whispered “never again.” The crepes were so thin, they could double as a blueprint for a paper airplane. I half-expected to see my crepe take flight and leave the café in search of flavor. The coffee was equally tragic—it tasted like it had been brewed in the Seine, with a price tag that suggested it was harvested from the rarest beans in the Alps. If you’re looking for an authentic Parisian experience, I recommend saving your money and just contemplating life while staring at a picture of the Eiffel Tower. At least that won't cost you the price of a small fortune! In summary, this café is perfect for anyone who enjoys overpaying for mediocrity while surrounded by décor that only serves as a cruel reminder of what could have been. Save your euros (and dollars) and head somewhere else—your taste buds will thank you! (one star for the cute décor)

Came Sunday, early afternoon, 12/3/23. Wife and I got 1 single of Turkish coffee, 1 medium iced white chocolate mocha, 1 ham and cheese croissant and 1 whole salmon bagel cream cheese. Total with tip was $70… The coffee was terrible, I would much much rather pay MORE for Dunkin than this coffee. It was extremely watered down, as if it was made with instant coffee and not enough beans. Awful. The Turkish coffee was the first time we tried it so I can’t say if it was good quality or not we didn’t like it personally but that may just be the case everywhere. The protein packed crepe was BURNT. It was crispy, crepes are NOT supposed to be crispy. Photo attached. Ham and cheese croissant had salad mix from a bag (the cheap kind with purple cabbage) just shoved inside with basic cheap deli ham slices. The croissant was warmed up nicely and had a buttery taste which was good though. Wife liked her salmon and cream cheese bagel, so that’s why they are getting 2 stars. Service was good, no complaints and the atmosphere is nice being inside icon park. Wouldn’t come back, not at the extremely high prices.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD…… Lets start with the bad service. 3 employees (manager one of them) they all made eye contact with us and took like 3 minutes to take the order. We order 2 crepes of $13.45 one with 1 scoop of ice cream $2 extra. When the guy gives the total comes out to $40.34. I ask why so much he says crepes + ice cream + tax, i said that didnt adds up $40, he said something i didnt even understand because his english was really bad. I paid and he took the receipt and throw it away, i ask for receipt and he reprint it. When i check he charge extra whipped cream (i didnt ask for it) and A SERVICE CHARGE OF $6.38. I asked him what was that he said he didnt know and called someone else the other guy said it was automatically add it and i ask for the manager the woman said it was a extra charge for christmas to help them and i told her tips are optional and not only that i was charge a different crepe more expensive and extra whipped cream and she said she was sorry and made a refund of $7.50. AND CREPES WERE NASTY AND COLD.

I visited the Cafe with my mom around 9:30/10am. We ordered a Bella Paris crepe (Nutella, banana and strawberry) and a Spinach Feta crepe to share, and two cappuccinos. We spent about $45 including tip (20%). They were good size crepes and we split each in half. I was in the mood for a sweet crepe and the Nutella crepe was delicious. I would definitely get it again. Whipped cream was an additional $0.50. The Spinach Feta crepe was served with a small side salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. It was pretty good, but I don't think I'd order it again. The crepe was a little bland and very eggy. I felt like it could have used more seasoning, cheese, sour cream, salsa or something. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the view of the fountains, Icon, and greenery. It wasn't very busy when we went and we were comfortable. My only complaint is that they didn't offer free tap waters. They only had bottled water to buy.
