This restaurant is pretty good. They have great food great service.. But one thing about the place that's going to bring it down is their manager. His name is Manny. Just because him and I have our differences doesn't mean he should go and kick my 9yr old son out of his restaurant. I mean the problem was between you and I you coward. But the other day my 9yr old was very hungry and I live near IHOP. And my SUV was broken down.. so I placed an order online for my son to get a burger.. he was so excited. So I walked him over to the restaurant to get his food. I waited outside respecting his request of me. It being able to go inside. I then see my 9yr old walking out with no food. And as he's walking over to me. I see him start to cry, so as his father I felt horrible. I bend down and I give him a hug and I ask him what's wrong. He said the waitress Ms Glenda who's always been so sweet to us. I guess had told my son "hey little man guess what? So my son replies with a happy" I don't know Mrs Glenda, What?" She then looked at him and tells him. "Well I can't serve you no more." My son's not old enough really to know what's going on. Nor is he old enough to catch on to sarcasm. He really thought she was about to tell him something cool or exciting. So my son not only had to wait a few more hours to eat. Cause we then had to call out for delivery. But you two Shouldn't even be allowed to work at a restaurant or IHOP. That was the most immature way to try and get back at someone. I have no problem with anyone, I don't care if your a man a woman if your a man who like other men and so on.. but this little fruit loop they got as a manager needs to be fired. I was never refunded for the order. And my son is permanently scarred from...
Read moreI like iHop, but I may end up going there less now that I realize drinks cost 4.59, and they don't offer refills for free. I dont remember that ever being the case, but maybe I'm wrong. Either case, I've been here long enough now that there's other restaurants in the area where I can get cheaper food without paying for refills. Other than this, the service is a bit slow. I wanted a bit, not too long, but it wasn't that busy, and I had to wait. The black lady who is a waitress there is fantastic. I dont know too many others, but I've never had an issue. It's just the wait time. That's an issue. Parking outside is a nightmare, and the restaurant is around a curve, so it's not in the most noticeable or convenient area. They'd do better if they moved to the Walmart Plaza with all those now empty businesses, but I guess they're still here to be next to the hotel. I have no issues with the food. It's excellent, but to me, breakfast is mostly breakfast, and there are cheaper options without being charged for refills. I will still come here once in a while but am a bit unsatisfied with the pricing and parking. If there's no spots in the parking lot, I leave.
EDIT: I visited yesterday, and a waitress informed me that certain beverage options aren't refillable, but she told me that I should have been told this up front. She was nice and gave me a discount. I went there for dinner and as always, the food is good. I ended up giving them an additional star because the service was better. I still think they need more parking or should move elsewhere in an easier...
Read moreMy family went here after celebrating my daughter’s graduation with a party of 8. Heather the waitress had an attitude from the moment we walked in. She was making smart remarks and eye rolling before we was even seated . My daughter asked for a refill on her drink, she stated she not worried about refills .she only worried about getting our food out with eye rolling. My daughter plate was dirty with chocolate smeared on the plate. My aunt ordered shrimp and was told they didn’t have cocktail sauce,so my aunt requested to order something else instead. Heather the waitress snatched plates aggressively off the table eye rolling. My family was uncomfortable and nervous to ask for refills . My daughter asked for a second refill and she turned around in a circle and hit the palm of her hand with a closed fist. I asked the waitress what was her problem and she told me ,we were the problem. Because we sent back food, I told her why would my daughter eat out of a dirty plate smeared with chocolate . I told her she needed to change her attitude . The waitress made a comment stating if I wanted to see a attitude she will really show me one. She tried to get in a physical altercation with my minor daughter, were her co worker had to hold her back and as a mother I was forced to protect my child. Also her male co worker was saying in saluting comments as well . Like I told heather if she would of put her hands on my daughter she was going to deal with me. This was the worst experience ever . I hope ihop handle...
