Casey’s Seafood and Grill is… an experience. Not necessarily a great one, but definitely an experience. The food is just kind of there…not bad enough to make a scene over but not good enough to get excited about. It needs something, but I can’t quite figure out what. Flavor? Soul? A hug from a grandmother who actually knows how to cook? Who’s to say.

Now, let’s talk about the staff. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it feels like to be a burden just for existing, you’re in luck. The service is impressively unfriendly, almost like they all got together and decided hospitality was optional. In all fairness my girlfriend was talking about her disastrous life pretty loudly at the bar so maybe that was it. I mean if it annoyed me, it must have drove them crazy. It’s not the worst meal I’ve ever had, but let’s just say I won’t be clearing my schedule to come back...

Kecey’s is a casual place ,is not fancy and neither is the food, but everything is fresh, tasty, and comforting. We’ve been here a few times and always enjoy it. The service is friendly, and even though it gets very busy at dinner time, the staff handles it well.

This time we tried the shrimp escargot, and it was very good. The Greek salad came with potato salad, which was a first for me, Even though it’s a seafood place, the hamburger is surprisingly good. We tried other dishes before as coconut shrimp and the fish and chips and we were satisfied with those as well. Kids meals are good too! They have daily specials and a lunch menu as well as happy hour, it is definitely a good option if looking for something flavorful while in the area. I felt discriminated against because of my color. I was seated at a counter not a table. At first I was okay with it. However, I saw that other people were getting tables; and we were the only people sitting at this counter. I still gave the place a chance. However, when our food was served I wasn’t even given a silverware setup with a napkin like everyone else. I was served my food (stroganoff) with a spoon (rather than a fork) sticking in the bowl. My daughter wasn’t even given a fork to eat her coleslaw. Over all a horrible experience to have to go through in 2023. A terrible way to make a person feel. Heart breaking.
