We have enjoyed King's seafood for the past several years while living in Port Orange. Previously located under the Dunlawton bridge, these folks have moved to a great location, which in my opinion, gives them much more exposure. They not only have the best selection of fresh seafood around, but trying their smoked fish dip and calamari salad is a must. The calamari salad is like a bit of sushi heaven on your taste buds without the rice. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place and I'm embarrassed that I haven't written a review sooner. We can't think of another place we would go to get our seafood if we aren't catching it ourselves. They'll filet it for you too if you're a fish cleaning novice. If they have lion fish, do yourself and the environment a favor and get some. It's delicious. 10/10 ⭐ would absolutely recommend! Edited to add this photo of our low country boil with the shrimp and crawfish we purchased at King's!

Well worth the drive for me from Deltona! Place is super clean, bright and inviting. Zero fishy smell and the cases were spotless. The whole fish had bright eyes and shiny skin and looked like they were fresh out of the water. Full service, they’ll clean and fillet for you as soon as you pick it out. Great selection of fresh and frozen and the first time I’ve seen lion fish in a long time (eat invasives!). The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and even give you cooking tips if you ask. They’re working on opening a little restaurant next door so I’m so excited to try that when it opens because everything was so fresh.

My husband came in to purchase mangrove snapper at 5:30. All they had were whole fish, so he asked if they could filet it for them. They were very rude and said no, that they closed their table already and were done cutting fish. He ended up getting red snapper filets at $29/lb. Come home, unwraps it and it has skin on it. If we wanted to filet a fish, we would have bought the whole fish at $12.99/lb. Will not be back.

The local fresh or (frozen in water so no freezer burn) king mackerel aka kingfish fillets taste great!! Like chicken if blackened, smoked, steamed or fried. Mild white meat, highest in beneficial oils and nutrients if cook with skin on aswell. Jus be sure to cut entire blood line out or any thick red line in center of fillet off bc thats the fishy tasting part on all fish. The professional crew at kings seafood do that for you of course...enjoy!! 👍

Fav recipe: Use non stick spray, grape leave or coconut oil on pan first. Cook the blackened or plain kingfish fillets skin on or off in Iron skillet for as long as chicken breast to give crispy and almost dry texture. Flip often with metal spatula so doesn't stick to pan. Serve over angle hair pasta or rice with Braggs liquid aminos (natural soy sauce) and hot sauce or olive oil with lemon pepper and garlic salt for a happy...

Throughly disappointed, came in for Royal Red Shrimp and he sold us the frozen ones, but when we got back to our condo the bag said Argentina Reds. We specifically asked for royal reds and that's not what we got. If we were closer we would have gone back. Don't appreciate being told one thing and sold something different. We can get Argentina reds at home, so we wouldn't shave bought them and we had our hearts set on Roysl Reds. Our receipt said Royal Reds and their board says Royal Reds but they sold us Argentina Reds. To me this is false information. Bottom line is if we knew they were Argentina Reds we would have never bought them, for this reason I won't be back and won't recommend, especially if looking Royal Reds. This is just wrong to do...
