One of the best Italian restaurants that I've had in a very long time, service was great, Savannah was great, I asked for recommendations and she was on point, while ordering it was like she already knew my taste, I ordered a Bahama mama and a lemon drop, I requested light alcohol and she did great,I was able to enjoy my drink fully without the excess or feel sick.I ordered the lasagna and it was great, with the right balance of sauce and meat ,walking out of the store without Reflux. My wife ordered the chicken piccata and it was very good, The pasta was Aldente with the right amount of sauce and seasoning, chicken was fresh and not dry at all. The music was not loud and pleasant, staff was friendly and very welcoming. This is a family owned business and it clearly shows how proud they are of their business. Prices are very affordable, it has been a while since I got a great dinner experience, when I got my check, I had to look twice because of how well priced this place is . The restaurant was very clean and organized, service was fast and food was fresh with great quality. The cheese cake was recommended by Savannah and it was homemade and not overly sweet, I will definitely come back to this restaurant, looking forward to having the pizza and...
Read moreMy wife and I went to Little Joeys for the first time yesterday for dinner. Although we have lived in the Villages for 10 years, we have never eaten there until yesterday. We both chose the same dish on the menu (Chicken Francois) because it sounded really good. My wife decided on a salad with her dinner, and I decided on the pasta fagioli. The chicken dishes came with your choice of several types of pasta. A basket of warm bread with butter was brought to the table as well.
Both the soup and salad were very delicious. My soup was probably the best pasta fagioli I have ever had in quite some time. Our main dish arrived soon after. Both the soup and chicken dishes were served nice and hot, as we expect. There is nothing worse than your meal arriving lukewarm or cold. Both of us were blown away by how delicious the meal was. The portions were plentiful enough that we both took half of our dinners home.
We had our leftovers for dinner tonight. It was just as enjoyable as last night. Little Joey's will be added as one of our go to restaurants that we like to frequent. I'd like to add that the meals are not overpriced at all, based on visits to other restaurants within the last...
Read moreThose are the garlic knots with cheese ! However they’re really small dinner rolls with cheese slapped on top and melted. Flavorless and were all together I cut them apart to discover a soft dinner roll underneath . I sent them back. Didn’t even eat but a tiny bite. No presentation effort put into these Dinner rolls being sold or pawn off as garlic knots. I ordered the meatball sub I had which was also flavorless and presented opened face with a bag of small chips. No herbs 🌿 on top or to be seen anywhere in the food. I was like who is cooking this Italian food ? Because it is definitely not an Italian. This was the second time I’ve been here I will not go back . First time I had their pizza had to order a whole pie they don’t offer individual slices. Also was tasteless. Another mistake for Italian interpretation of a restaurant. However the service was good so I will give a five star on their behalf. Prices are decent however I guess you get what you pay for. Won’t be back. Sorry this is not it for Italian food not...
