May Flower Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Up until today the service has been fantastic and the food was delicious. Today I specifically asked that they ring my doorbell and leave the food on the porch. Over 30 minutes after when the email said it would be here, I called to find out where my food was. Turns out the driver left it here without knocking, without ringing the doorbell, and my food is cold. I tried to speak to them at the restaurant where the gentleman told me that I needed to calm down, told me I was agitated (I was not uncalm, nor was I agitated, but I could hear his driver bold face lying to him telling him that she rang the doorbell twice - my doorbell is loud, and she did not ring it). He then told me that he was between two people - me saying she didn’t and her saying she did. I made it easy - I won’t be calling again. And he told me that was my choice. So don’t ask for contactless delivery. They won’t let you know your food is getting cold on the front porch and then they’ll lie about it. Unbelievable disappointed in Mayflower, we have been ordering from them for years and absolutely love the food. However, for some reason now they can no longer deliver to us even though we have been ordering from them at this same address for about 5 years and now because we are 7.1 miles away and u only deliver up to 7 miles. Even after explaining to the lady on the phone that we are regulars and have been ordering delivery for ever and live there food they didn't care and it was a no even after she told our card. We have not picked up food in about 3 months but I can not tell you how bad the food was on 11/30. Everything fried tasted like the oil was rancid. The egg rolls were not cooked through. The chicken was raw in my order. The oil left an after taste and my husband and I were both feeling ill for a day. We were so disappointed as it is a little drive for us and in the past has been very good. I threw 80% of the meal and appetizer in the trash.
