This McDonald's is probably the worst run restaurant in the chain in my opinion. I have been a regular here for about a year but after this morning, never again. The drive thru lines move at a snail's pace (took 25 minutes to serve maybe 9 cars this morning and this is by far more the norm than the unusual). They had one person (rudely) taking orders for both drive thru lanes and she was also the person taking the money and handing the food out. they did not list the order on the screen but did repeat it. They had no one working at the first window yet the manager could be seen through the window sitting at the desk in front of a computer. This was at 7:30 in the morning and the line wrapped all the way around the restaurant. Another employee was strolling around outside and looked to be emptying trash cans. Their credit card machine apparently only worked at the inside walk up counter (they had to take my card there) and when I asked for a receipt, was told I had to ask before I gave the card! More than 1/2 dozen times in the past 6 weeks, my large coffee has had more grounds in it than coffee. Twice I brought it back to complain as truly undrinkable and they grudgingly replaced it (without apology). This morning I ordered 2 burritos and and sausage biscuit with a coffee, what I received was one burrito and one biscuit (and another ground filled coffee). The burrito I received was basically the wrap itself with almost no egg and no sausage. It was uneatable. As a shareholder in McDonalds, receiving such poor service and seeing more than 3 people literally pull out of line and leave rather than waste their life away in line bothers me a lot. Being stolen from by not receiving what I paid for is completely unacceptable. I know it's getting harder to hire good people, but corporate should really consider closing this location as they simply have no idea how to operate...
Read morePulled up to the drive-thru window, wasn't even asked if I had the app.. which I did. Instead was asked "what you want.." several times. Told her I wanted the points and that I wanted a double cheeseburger deluxe add bacon, no onion. (Which should consist of two patties, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and ketchup etc.) However, instead I got a double cheese with two patties and two tomatoes. I asked for the order takers name, apparently it was jasmine who took my order. First of all, I used to work at this very mcdonalds about 2 years ago. I watched management and employees change a lot since then and I can't believe what it's become. I should NOT have been welcomed with "what do you want"... it should be obvious, I chose McDonald's. Second of all, when taking a customers order you have to LISTEN very carefully to what they say. This sandwich was NOT for me, it was for someone I know. THEY are not happy, so I am not happy. There was one worker at cashier window 2 tonight that i specifically asked them to put lettuce on, when I told her I asked for lettuce. So I'm not sure why they would ignore what their teammate asked, but if jasmine can't handle the night shift, don't put her there. When we got back all of the food was cold, and... they STILL forgot the lettuce even on the re-made sandwhich. Finally, the attitude and lack of attention Is not appreciated. There is a burger King down the road so maybe I should just start going there again since they are higher with customer service, quality and high in understanding. I'd like to comment more but I'm sure the picture is being set enough and I'm no longer interested in...
Read moreI understand this store had some problems in the past - not so now. My experience was excellent and they earned this high rating. Being Weight Watchers we are careful about what foods we eat. McDonald's Southwest grilled chicken salad is one of our go-to foods when we are out - nutritious and only 5 points without dressing. We eat McDonald's salads a LOT. There is a definite quality difference from store to store. I'd rate this one among the best if not THE best we've ever experienced from this chain. Several things impressed me. Our salads were prepared perfectly with little wait time and the meat was cooked just right; the store was immaculate throughout; a hand-made Mission Statement poster on the wall behind the registers immediately captured our attention and made me pay particular attention to whether the team was living up to it - they definitely were! They were helpful and cheerful, giving the sense that they were glad we chose their McDonald's; the general manager was a strong leader, working the counter, cleaning tables, helping to get food orders out in a timely manner, and most of all inspiring the members of his team to live up to their mission statement. He expected excellence and demonstrated it. He is definitely an asset to the McDonald's organization. He, his team, and his store exceeded our expectations in every way. It's just burgers and such, but the dining experience felt like much more. Kudos to this McDonald's. All their stores should work to this...
