Mr Tequila Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

9/14/2024 - Update 👎🏻 ☹️. We came in for dinner and had the intent of using a BOGO meal coupon I received in my email. The coupon required the purchase of two drinks (alcohol or non-alcohol was not prescribed). The server came over and took our drink order. We (all four of us) all had the 2 for 1 margaritas that they have EVERY DAY without ordering a meal. When it came time to order our meals, I showed the server my coupon and she said that I COUNLD NOT use it as the 2-fer margaritas was a deal. I am so tired of these little loopholes in these coupons that restaurants send out and then yank the carpet out from under you when you try to use it. I am very disappointed with this restaurant and probably won't be back for quite a while which is really sad. I hope the owner reads this because I used to like this place. Very sad. I've lowered the service because this was not service but a disservice.

11/4/2022 - Update. We came in for dinner and found the food and service to be very good. Right back up to the quality that we used to expect here. Yummy.

We visited Mr. Tequila's on Immokolee Road today, 1/20/2019 for dinner. I would normally give a raving review for this restaurant as I have enjoyed other Mr. Tequila locations and their associated Casamigos restaurant. I have visited this location previously and have really enjoyed the food. Today, however, I had the Enchiladas Yolanda and I am sorry to say that the quality has taken a steep decline from what I am used to at these restaurants. That said, my wife and father-in-law enjoyed their meals and that is the only reason I gave 3 stars in this review. I am not sure if they have a new cook or cooks but something has definitely changed in the recipes. I might come back to this location but not...

Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant: Consistently Outstanding! Our visit to Mr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant was, as expected, nothing short of spectacular! We've had the pleasure of dining at other restaurants from the same chain before, and they never disappoint. This location certainly upheld that fantastic reputation.

From the moment we walked in, the service was great. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and efficient, ensuring our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. They were quick with refills, happy to answer questions, and genuinely contributed to a vibrant atmosphere.

But let's talk about the food – it was truly out of this world! Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the appetizers to the main courses, each bite was a delight. And the margaritas were the best we've had in a long time – perfectly balanced, refreshing, and dangerously delicious!

We loved our meal so much that we even bought food to go, eager to extend the deliciousness to another day. Unfortunately I can’t give them no stars. We ate our lunch in the outdoor patio. A surly staff members came to our table and dropped a pile of menus and napkin wrapped flatware on the table. No greeting. I asked is he can please wipe a dirty, sticky area where a fly was stuck. He walked away without a word. After 3-5 minutes a waitress brought 2 baskets of tortilla chips and salsa. I asked her also and she replied, “yes”. No cleaning for another 3-5 minutes. A waiter came to take our drink and lunch orders and I asked him to please clean. He replied nicely,”yes of course it should have been done this morning “. He and waitress came back with 2 cloths and wiped the table. Four of the six meals were horrible. Tacos were disgusting, filled with onions, cilantro and bits of beef that were burned or possibly reheated and impossible to chew. The kids did not eat 2 bites each.
