Rusty’s Naples — Restaurant in Florida

I moved to the area about a year ago. Mind you, I have lived in Naples-Bonita my whole life. It was still a new area for me. I was in search of a good neighborhood bar. Somewhere I can have fun on the weekends at or go have some late night food or snacks. Rustys ended up being the best place I could find.

First off, the employees at Rustys have grown to be some of my favorite people. From the first time I went in there, they were very friendly and attentive. My beer was never empty unless I wanted it to be. Everything I have ordered there has been delicious or very good. I have never had to send anything back. MIND YOU... I do not indulge in raw oysters but I see people get them there all the time and they all seem to enjoy the hell out of them. Now back to it. All the bartenders there know their drinks and if they don't the have someone else make it or ask them how to make it. Not everyone knows every shot or mix drink in the world. I don't want the last statement to come off the wrong way. I only witnessed this once when someone next to me ordered some obscure shot I have never heard of either. I love strange girly shots and the have always delivered. That is about it on the food, drink and service part.

I have never felt more welcome at an establishment in my life. I highly recommend checking the place out if you are reading reviews trying to decide. Also, I feel this review would be about the same from my many friends that go there with me and all the friends I have made going there.

Trevor Wishman General Manager shame on you!

I have been to this Bar and grill frequently due to location, close to home and after work the guys and I like to stop by for a drink or two to unwind. It is unfortunate that I am compelled to write a negative review at this time. I think it’s important that people are aware of charges on their bill that was not authorized. The first time I noticed, I called and spoke to a “manager” because there were extra charges. The “manager” apologized and refunded the extra charges. I went there again last night and because of my experience checked my account online and right away saw three pending payments of which only one I signed for. Instead of calling I went in person to address this matter with a manager. I met with Trevor Wishman, General Manager that immediately before I could explain the details said, “get to the point”! To make a long story short he came out with two receipts one I signed for and included a tip and one that was not signed by me. He said, that the other one was signed after a couple more drinks so in other words I signed and don’t know I signed. What Mr. Wishman does not know is I bought the drinks for my buddies I had no alcohol. I will not be heading back to this establishment because 2 times of being charged extra is all I need. Mr. Wishman, I will dispute these charges with my bank and will not come where I am not valued because all I wanted to do with you was make you aware of what’s going on with your workers, just think how many people didn’t realize they were charged more...

Probably my worst bar experience I’ve ever had.. working in the industry I was appalled how I was treated on my first time here since moving to Naples. At 1:30am lights turn on, music turns off, okay cool.. I get it, start closing out and making our way out.. just so happen to be here with regulars (who ALWAYS take care of the staff generously)when the bartender offered another drink, her comment was then “well you better be tipping me double for this margarita making it so late” at 1:32am.. I wish she was joking.. screams tacky AND broke. We then agree, and as we are talking amongst our group quietly about actually, my boyfriends place of business, and doing their last call, the smart mouth, lacking hairline bartender then inserts himself in our conversation assuming we are talking about them? And even if we were?? Mind your business while business minds you. Security at 1:43 comes over and proceeds to tell us to get up, I said “I just got my drink maybe 5 minutes ago.. can I just finish it without chugging?” He goes “maybe they’ll give you a to go cup if you ask nicely” a to go cup?? Those are the practices you folks follow? Open container? On mind you, on a “double the tip” margarita. Like I said, I have never had a tackier bar experience by B team members on their staff AT BEST, the people skills definitely lack, I won’t be giving these swine of staff members another cent...
