Excellent bar to hang out at any night of the week. The crowd stays consistent as well as the bartenders. Everyone in this establishment is dedicated to their clients and go above and beyond to ensure things run smoothly. Everyone has their different opinions and may be unhappy with certain things such as music being skipped and certain people in the bar being talked to more, but that is going to happen in ANY establishment and I do not see anything negative about that. This is a well known dive bar that a lot of the same people frequent so while there everyone is going to talk and catch up; that is normal. I’ve never once seen anything very bad or very negative while at Mugs N Jugs and would recommend this establishment to anyone to check out. Avoid this below average local dive, unless you're a broke college student. Mugs & Jugs is a modest local bar, trying to be more than it is. Average prices, and loose college frat-party atmosphere. It is primarily frequented by old locals, and popular with college students for the weekday cheap drink specials. The staff is mostly friendly. But depending on the night, there might be inexperienced servers, and sometimes even rude service. This bar might deserve 2 stars if the staff were consistently more professional. No food is served, but they do have fresh popcorn. There's cornhole, beer pong, and plenty of seating outside on the concrete patio. Pool, darts, karaoke, pinball and video golf games inside. We went to this place last night. When we got there no bar tender was in sight. We sat at the bar and about 5 minutes goes by before anyone looking like an employee appeared. After havin a conversation with someone at the end of the bar and getting him ANOTHER drink even though we NO drinks. After he continued his conversation for another 5 minutes I waved my arms to get his attention at which point he put up his index finger indicating wait a minute. He then continued his conversation.
