My third time was not a charm - something changed (Chef…) I ordered flounder - you could smell it coming (horrible sign if you can smell the fish from far away) - it was dried out with zero sauce - it was described as this Flounder Grenobloise, brown butter, cappers, lemon, croutons, parsley brown butter, capers, lemon, croutons, parsley. There were a few capers thrown on. Completely overcooked, smelly flounder. Another guest ordered Pappardelle Porcini - wild mushroom blend, roasted garlic, creamy porcini sauce, white truffles, fresh herbs. The pasta was all stuck together and raw - we peeled a clump out and put on a plate so the chef could see - his response - oh a couple stuck together and he quickly took that away. While trying to eat the rest it was realized, most of the past was stuck together. The sauce was all wrong - very gray and pasty with zero flavor. The last photo is what this SHOULD look like… As I mentioned, this was my third visit - i asked what changed I was told nothing. That is so not true my first two visits were fantastic. This was HORRID. The waitress was actually visibly annoyed when I asked her to remove the fish from the table (it was rancid). I had to flag the waitress to bring drinks, our meal took almost an hour to arrive, Will not return - SHAME SHAME SHAME KYLE G!

Nonna’s Italian Restaurant - A Must-Visit for Guests at The Lucie on Hutchinson Island I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nonna’s Italian restaurant, conveniently located across the street from The Lucie on Hutchinson Island. It was my first time eating there, and I was thoroughly impressed! We visited on a Monday and took advantage of their Monday special, which featured some of the best meatballs I've ever had. We ordered two servings of their signature meatballs with ricotta and pesto—absolutely amazing. Alongside, we enjoyed a fresh Caesar salad and their Monday special pizza, a Margherita with Roma tomatoes and basil that were bursting with flavor. My daughter opted for the rigatoni amatriciana with pancetta and Calabrian peppers, and I was lucky enough to sample it—it was delicious. To top off the meal, we indulged in a rich chocolate cake paired with a Neapolitan spumoni sundae that included Nutella pistachio gelato. I highly recommend trying this dessert; it was the perfect finish to our meal. A bonus was meeting Derek, the general manager, who was incredibly nice and accommodating. His hospitality really added to the overall experience. If you're staying at The Lucie on Hutchinson Island, I highly recommend making the short walk to Nonna’s. I can’t wait to return

This is another Kyle G's restaurant. We made a reservation online so we didn't wait but there was lots of open tables. Hostess was very nice and attentive. The server on the other hand was hard to find during our time there and seemed bothered that he had to work. We had drinks and food. I don't know if the bartender was new or the drink recipes are bad but our drinks tasted like pure sugar. We had the mint lemonade (non alcoholic) and the Roman Rum Punch. We ordered the Nonna's Meatball appetizer. It looked great but it wouldn't be something you ordered again. We ordered the caesar salad, chicken marsala, and the chicken milanese. Salad looked like they had opened a bag of supermarket salad and dumped it on a plate with some cheese and crispy chick peas on top. They forgot the salt or any seasoning on the chicken milanese. The marsala was pretty good. The bread and olive oil was good as well. We overheard the waitress at the table next to us say that this place gets packed when the snowbirds come back. I guess there isn't alot of options in the area?? Personally would not go back at all. Food and server was not good. The ambiance and restaurant were nice. This is a hospitality included restaurant.

My husband, a bunch of friends, and I tried Nonna's in Jensen Beach. We heard Kyle G took it over and how great it was, so we had dinner there on 9/9/23. I'll start with the ambiance. There is a lovely garden in the back where you can wait. We had taken a relatively late reservation (7:45) but were still made to wait about 15 min. Not too big a deal, but we were all hungry when we sat down. The waitress was humorless though efficient at least initially. We were never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, so her efficiency disappeared.

The deal breaker was the food. This place was a one and done. Three of our party ordered chicken parmagian and none liked it. Something about the consistency of the chicken was off. My husband said it was like a chopped chicken patty, our friend who ordered a chicken parm sandwich, did not like his either! One person ordered a shrimp and pesto pizza. She thought it was OK, I tasted it and did not care for the consistency , there was a grainy texture I couldnt get past. One person ordered salmon, she said it was OK. One person ordered linguini and clam sauce which came out looking really good and actually was really good, according to our friend. I do not eat meat and unless I wanted pizza or pasta these was almost nothing on the menu that did not contain pancetta or sausage etc. I asked if they could make a shrimp dish, which they did. It was tasty but the shrimp were few and microscopic, probably a 40 count. They did it in a marsala sauce which was a bit thick but tasty. We did tell the manager who came by (to tell us that my friend's pizza had been burnt so they were waiting for a new one) that the chicken was not good. Crickets! No reaction! I would not go back. We traveled 45 minutes for less then mediocre food. Two stars because the garden was a nice...

Nonna’s restaurant is excellent!

Our server Megan was on point. She was very knowledgeable and professional. We had never been to Nonna’s before, but my wife and I had heard about it & a server named Megan from friends who had frequented this restaurant recently. They were right about the restaurant and about our server! When we arrived we asked to be seated in her section and our enjoyable evening ensued. Megan treated us like family… (And not the kind of family that you don’t get along with from time to time!😄) I asked her for suggestions of what to eat that evening, and I was not disappointed by her recommendations. The veal was excellent! The roasted garlic/herb dipping sauce for our bread was out of this world! We had a very enjoyable time that evening. So much so that we came back for a second night. We were greeted at the door by staff member Jennifer. She recognized use from the evening before. She advised that Megan was not on staff currently because she had the night off. Therefore, Jennifer set us up well by seating us in server Dawn’s area. Our second evening was no disappointment. Dawn was very knowledgeable as well and met our every expectation. “Round two” at Nonna’s was a great success! We highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves a quaint atmosphere and delicious food. You will not be disappointed if you are a foodie like me!!

Thank you Megan, Jennifer and Dawn for two wonderful dining experiences.

Respectfully, E- I usually take pictures and post, but I was experiencing such good evenings that I forgot! We will have to go again and then post...

For a Kyle G's restaurant, this was a tremendous disappointment. Our 4 meals were subpar. Oil served with bread was tasteless. Bartender was CONFUSED whether they had the ingredients to make their highlighted special cocktail, The Snowbird. I ordered sangria and then was informed that they DO have the ingredients for Snowbird. It was essentially a tart cranberry juice with blueberries and ice- sent that back. Got a sangria, only fruit in it - lime, lemon, and one cherry - also awful. We waited an hour for 4 meals. Pappardelle was so undercooked that it had to be cut with a knife. Chicken Francese was cold. Sauce was flavorless, rigatoni was dry, undercooked, and cold. Saltimbocca was 2 small veal scallopine completely wrapped in prosciutto and overcooked. Veal marsala served with rigatoni on the side - the marinara was so burnt, and we couldn't tell it was veal.

Waitress was really good, and uber apologetic about our wait and sent over the manager, who comped our drinks and went to the kitchen to ask about our meals. He served them personally and should be ashamed that the chef, whatever other kitchen staff, and HE didn't see the poor quality he was serving us. After talking with us, he comped everything but 2 dinners and sent us some desserts. FYI- Limoncello cake was fantastic. Frankly, we shouldn't have paid for anything, but we didn't come for free meals, we came for delicious ones.

It's not about $. It's about quality, and boy did Nonna's disappoint. Won't be willing to give it a second chance,...
