PAELLA UNO — Restaurant in Florida

Hired Manny for a 75 person pool party at our condominium association. From day one the communication was outstanding very easy to contact and work out the details on the day of the party. Manny kept me abreast of what time he would arrive. We were worried about the weather, but it turned out to be beautiful. The food was absolutely sensational. Lots of our guests came up to take pictures of Manny as he was preparing the meal along with his sous chef Christian. The food was served exactly on time and was hot and delicious. Manny has a great personality as he talked to the guests as well. We have had many events over the years, but this was probably the best according to feedback from our guests. I cannot say enough about the quality of the food and the service. I highly highly recommend Paella Uno for your next event or party. We had two paellas made, one seafood, and one turf. They made enough so that everyone could have seconds and we even had some people take some home. This is the first class operation all the way, great price, great quality, and don’t hesitate to contact him for your next event. Five stars...

Paella Uno was such a fantastic choice for my father-in-law’s 90th birthday party dinner! From the initial call to the evening of the party Manny was such a pleasure to work with and so professional! We had MANY dietary restrictions, (celiac, vegetarians, nut allergies, no pork, and gout), and he offered us options for all. He also clearly noted all the allergies on the quote, which made us all very comfortable. We opted for a turf paella with chicken chorizo (his suggestion to avoid pork) and a vegetarian paella. Both were delicious, the guests raved About them, had seconds, and we even had leftovers! And having Manny cook the paellas on site in front of us made the dinner way more special than a regular catered meal! Upon my request, he suggested a bartender/server as well, who was great and took care of sangria, drinks, cake, and clean up. The evening was just perfect and could t have not gone better! 10 years ago we somehow ran across Manny and Paella Uno, so this review comes with some weight. We used him the first time for a birthday party at my house feeding about 50 guests. We went for both a seafood and a meat paella and let me tell you, he became the entertainment with his presentation of appetizers and his artistry of prepping and cooking the paella. He was a hit and him and his wife as people are such a joy. It was such a success that we’ve used him multiple times over the years. Since the pandemic our parties have sort of diminished but from time to time I always wondered if he was still in business. Well my wife threw me a surprise party and much to my delight there was Manny, doing his thing and serving it up.
