Gave this new place a try last night. We love the fact a new pizza place is in our area!
The staff was very ill prepared for the opening and were completely overwhelmed by orders.
We placed an online order at 6:55 pm. Was told by the system that it would be ready at 7:15 pm. Arrived at 7:15 and was told by staff it would be at least an hour. Seating area was full of unhappy customers who had been waiting for up to 90 minutes for their order. I understand growing pains for a new business so I quietly sat and waited.
The owner checked on my several times and even brought me a water. I know they were trying. Staff at the counter (4) were not doing much but standing around. The line staff making pizzas were making them as fast as they could by making lots of mistakes which is to be expected.
This business obviously opened sooner than they should have and without proper training of staff. If you are going to charge $20 for a small pizza (serves one person) than you had better step up your game. $8 for salad that included bitter ends of salad hearts and very large lettuce chunks won't fly either. Those prices may work in Babcock ranch but not down here.....
We will give them a few weeks and try them again. We ordered two small pizzas and a large salad - total was $58 and it was 2 hours from order time to eat time.......
Give them a shot and hopefully with time they will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have lost the momentum of great customer service and welcoming atmosphere that they had in the beginning. When they opened with the new management they could barely cope with the number of customers. Now they don't even have something as basic as Coca-Cola. I like the pizza how they prepare it but it has become more of a To-Go business than a place to visit with the family. I know these are difficult times to do business at SWFL but customer service is crucial guys.
Update: Owner asked me for more details:
When we talk about customer service it goes beyond saying hello and asking what you want. The follow-up at the table about whether your order is okay. Do not sweep and raise dust in the dining room when there are customers. When you take out the trash, try to leave the trash can ready... and if it's not full, don't do it in front of customers. Always have the most requested products available and if the distributor fails, have a plan b. Don't assume that everyone who arrives will order takeout... a customer who stays consumes more and with good service there are better tips. I'm glad that those who are working are young, it's just a matter of having a little...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday was not their day. Iāve had a good experience there before and bad but always willing to give it another shot but today was definitely not their day. I got there after the time to be ready with 30 minutes. They said give it about seven or eight more minutes. It was about another 12 to 15 minutes and in the middle of that the Cook was by himself then a lady showed up and then they started arguing back-and-forth hollering so once thatās done, my pizza comes out and it was clearly not mine and it was made wrong so I left, but I definitely wonāt be back again. Thereās been more negatives than positive and I believe in giving everything a second chance but Iām done here on top of that. Thereās a guy sitting in there with kids young kids, and theyāre in their hollering back-and-forth to top it all off when the guy was frustrated about him making my pizza wrong then he started wiping his face and then was right back to making pizza without washing his hands. Thatās a big no for me. I understand they make pizza with their hands and no gloves, but you donāt wipe your face so for the cleanliness reasons Iām not going back there again. I told them thank you have...
