Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

UPDTE--2024: This location just stays subpar. Pizza and wing are starting to be rushed and just not done well at all. The delivery charges, and pushing a minimum 20% tip unless you choose custom, then use door dash to deliver instead of their own employees. No wonder it's hurting and has a 3.7 rating. This location is a joke 🤣.

2020: I mean, it's papa johns.. It's good pizza, great wings.. This location is kinda weird though.. Seems like when it says they are out for delivery (I'm like 600 yards from them) it takes 45 minutes.And the whole sticker (no contact covid) that shows it hasn't been touched or opened, they only use every so often. I love papa johns, but this location is sketchy to say the least. Not sure how I feel to be honest.

2021: Year later, still OK pizza, but their service is terrible.. Takes twice as long to deliver.. The app says my food is being prepared 30 minutes before it even leaves, then another 15. Delivery charge $5, doesn't go to the driver, tipped $5 for total of $24 one pizza that's $14.. 🤷🤦I love Papa John's, but this location doesn't take your time or money into...

Ordered 2 pizzas via Instacart- Olive and sausage. Upon receiving pizzas, found that there were 2 Olive, no sausage pizzas. Called the restaurant to see if it could be resolved, and was interrupted and told that it’s an Instacart order and that it would have to be dealt with through them. Tried to ask them what order they saw on their end (since we reviewed the order from our end and it was correct on the app) and was interrupted again, just being told to go through Instacart.

Even after picking off the topping and still eating the pizza, it was dry and didn’t taste good. Reading other reviews, it seems they mess up orders repeatedly. We are avoiding...

We recently visited this location on our way to transfer my wife's mother from the hospital to a rehab center with very little time to spend eating at a restaurant. The manager (didn't get his name) asked what he could get for me and I explained I was in a rush. Without delay he had our pizza on its way into the oven and in less than 10 minutes from our arrival we were on our way. I attempted to tip him. He said "no it was not necessary I like to pay it forward" (although I insisted he take it) This is how a real company operates and I truely value knowing people like him....
