Party Cake Bakery — Restaurant in Florida

Please understand that this review is mainly for the cake aspect of the bakery.

I have been a customer at this bakery for over 5 years. Have gone to the one located on 8th Street SW 147th Avenue, 56th Street SW 157th Avenue, and recently 88th Street SW 157th Avenue. Regardless of which location you order your cake from, they are all made at their main location by the owner. The first cake we ordered was fantastic. The cake was dry but bearable and was a crowd pleaser and looked great in pictures. The problems began when we ordered a cake for my daughter's baptism. It looked undone. The lettering was sloppy and the cake style and color was no where near the picture we provided. I also felt that the price was a bit steep for what we were requesting. Every minor thing was an additional, hefty cost and at the end of the day I regretted ordering this cake from this bakery. My wife and I ended up fixing the entire cake by hiding the flaws with flowers. I decided to give them a second opportunity, mainly because of how amazing the first cake looked, and the request for this cake was simpler than the first two. It was black and white stripes...that's it. This cake was for my mother's birthday party and again, they completely missed the mark and failed to make it look like the picture. The stripes were not straight, there were gaps all throughout the cake, and from a distance it looked like they left the cake outside to melt because of how lopsided it looked. Needless to say, I've learned my lesson and will never order another cake from this...

I love Party Cake bakery, besides being in the neighborhood is a great place to grab a quick snack or breakfast to go on Sundays, they have a great variety of pastries and some more, their prices are excellent, thru have so many options to choose from, you can even order your breakfast and eggs however your like and they will prepare it for you right there in a flash. The best of these place is their crew, all the girls there are really a team, they are synchronized to serve you in the best way, quick and with the best attitude which is what what love, is always a party in there, everyone is always smiling and they great you with a big positive attitude which always makes my day!!! I love this place and that's why it's in my favorites places when I want a quick bite out just a coffee with some sweets, I come here several times a week and I highly recommend you this bakery for all your needs, they have a little of everything, their cakes are really good especially the señoritas (Milhojas), also the tiramisu is awesome... Great place, great service, great prices, I'll see you tomorrow for...

I don’t recommend anyone this bakery to eat. First of all , the 2 ladies that serve you food have gloves on and they use it all day and dont replace them when handling the cashier. They will keep the same gloves to cook or prepare your food after they touched cash and used the cashier monitor . On top of that, the lady who was preparing my food started eating some of the fries from my meal, im sure her mouth touched those nasty gloves and then went on to grab my food with those same gloves. Ive came here a few times and they do this all the times ive came. I will not be returning here and i hope the owner of this place does something about this cause i dont want anyone touching that cashier and handling cash and then making my food. If owner doesnt believe just take a look at the cameras around 3 pm today. Tell them to replace their gloves when handling peoples food. Why keep the gloves on? Might as well not use them at all. Also the amount of flies in this place. And they leave the bread out all day for them...
