Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Florida

I ordered for delivery , it said it would be at my parents house at 7pm.

The delivery driver just left the 2 pizzas at the door step, and did not bother to ring or knock on the door.

My mom and wife did not even know the pizzas were there till my father got home at 7:30pm, when he brought them in. (I recieved notification that the delivery driver handed the pizzas to someone, since i was driving and on the other side of town, I was not aware of all of this till they called and told me.)

When is called the store and asked to speak to a manager, I was told to wait one moment while they gone to get them, a few minutes later the line disconnected, so I called and back asking to speak to a manager, the lady said she was the manager, so I explained my situation, and the only thing she offered was to replace the pizzas. I asked for a refund, and she said she was unable to give me one e, and can only make the 2 pizzas again, and have them delivered. I asked her if she could have the rushed, and her response was, that they would get there when they get there. Please note at this time the time was around 7:30pm, since my parents did not know if the pizzas were any good, since they were sitting outside for 30 minutes, they made something for my kids who was there.

I then gone and picked them up, and the new pizzas were just arriving at 8:15pm

So my kids or wife, never got to even eat the pizzas.

I would like to speak to the owner of the store please, and see how we can...

So, the last time I ordered from Pizza Hut was October when it took over an hour and 20 minutes to get our food delivered from about a mile away. After taking care of kitties at the shelter yesterday, neither of us wanted to go out again. At all. So, I decided to try Pizza Hut again after 5 months. Order came pretty quickly, but the driver did not speak English and didn't understand what I meant when I asked him how much of the $5.29 delivery charge he got. Order was wrong. We ordered buffalo chicken pizza with buffalo sauce, but it came with this weird sweet sauce. Honey bbq maybe? There was no way to cite this in the app. So I did something I hate doing and I picked up the phone and called to complain, and after navigating the voicemail, someone picked up, but no one spoke. After a minute or so with me saying "Hello?" with no answer, I hung up and tried again. Same thing. Looked up the 800 number. Got put on hold for 5 minutes before I gave up. This was likely the LAST time I order anything for delivery from this Pizza Hut. Allow me to be an old man, and say "I remember when going to Pizza Hut was a special treat! After working hard shoveling snow, we'd go and eat darn near a whole Priazzo (remember those?) and pitcher of Slice between the 2 of us. Sadly, Pizza Hut has fully "Schlitzifying" cutting quality to increase margin. Pizza Hut, your Doctor Phillips location has gotten the last penny...

Ordered online for carry out as we just figured we’d get it faster that way as we live across the street. By the time we put on our shoes and walked in the pizza and garlic bread were closing out of the oven. Over the years we haven’t really been Pizza Hit fans, opting more for small locally owned shops or a different delivery option. With our new location, we couldn’t beat the convenience of this location so we gave it a try. Thin crust is our preference with Pizza Hut but not with the other chains. So if Pizza Hut isn’t your normal place, try a different crust- it may make a difference. Join their club and you can earn points towards free food etc. You have nothing to lose. They do offer curb side delivery to the car as well should you chose with special parking.

Update but leaving initial review above that went from 5 stars to 1 in a little over a year. Service here has obviously gone down and if the manager is any indication there is no wonder. Love how they direct you to go online while in the store to capture the little bit of savings available. Today will be our last visit - plenty of other places for locals than a poor customer experience that you obviously would be guaranteed...
