i ordered online for delivery fish and chips which i have ordered before even tho the fries were cold and soggy, it was the only place that delivered to my area. I wanted the fish not the fries. well it came as usual cold and fries soggy but most important to me is they did not include any tartar sauce. I am not a fish eater and cannot eat the fish at all without tartar sauce. I called and spoke to an employee who was only interested in convincing me she had nothing to do with my order. Then she said I could go to the store and pick up tartar sauce. I just paid delivery fee and taxes and tips for delivery so NO not an option. She said she would let me speak with the manager. after waiting 8 min. i called back and again she said i could speak to the manager and "oh, it won't be long". Again another 10 min. and no manager. I called for 3rd time and she said manager would call me. Well, manager did not call me back that night nor the next day. I was furious at the way i was treated. their prices were raised and the meals were worse. There was 1/4 of a very small lemon instead of tartar sauce and coleslaw. He doesn't want to hear from patrons with problems or who were not satisfied. It is almost 2 days later and I have not heard one word so I will stop payment. I am sure he will call then. that is a disgrace to treat returning costumers that way. I will NEVER order from...

Upon entering,my second visit,I noticed that the restaurant didn't have the wonderful smell of a true deli. After growing up on The Carnegie in NYC,there is zero comparison. The pastrami sandwich, the gold standard of any fine deli, should draw attention to the guest.Visual of a well stocked sandwich with plenty of meat, layered in,not pieces knotted in with tongs. The restaurant,in a non-covid environment, was out of pickles, matzoh ball and chicken soup.No excuse what so ever. The worst visual was the meat case facing as you walk in.What a disgusting portrayal of nothing. Other dishes with a couple of things here and there. When I visited 15-20 years ago,it was an average experience,so I gave it another try. You're no Three G's,and I'm sorry to say your best days are gone. You cannot attempt to feed a Jewish clientele.I was in retail for 45 years and when you have to say I'm sorry more than thank you, well, you have your answer.Better to not attempt to be open than to make this poor attempt at running the deli successfully. I'm sorry to have to write this review, but ruining a business that is the very essence of our Jewish culture, well we've been oppressed enough.I wish you the best. After all this time,it's now September 8,2025 and never a respons.Poor management and hiding behind social media...

This place used to be rather good but I guess they can't handle larger parties. We had 18 people. The server didn't offer any kids menus and then when we requested them she brought out 4 for the 7 kids we had. The food came out terribly slow. Some food came out, then some more. Most people were done eating by the time the last meal came out. It was pretty bad. The server could barely keep up with drink orders, let alone refills. 2 drinks arrived after the food. My 7 year old's burger was completely raw in the middle. I don't know how this place offers catering if they can't do a big table. The food was okay, minus the raw kids burger. The server seemed like she hated work, as she was very unpleasant. The manager shouted from the other end of the table that she would remake or refund the burger instead of actually coming over. There was no apology for the food coming out at such a sporadic rate. Desserts looked good but service for food was so bad no one wanted to attempt dessert. Maybe if you are dining with one or two people service would be better but I wouldn't go again with a large party and definitely check your kids meal as raw meat to a child is on your way to a lawsuit. ...

Been here plenty of times. There is plenty of competition on Restaurant Row and this restaurant is losing it's charm and character. Sandwiches is the way to go for most Toojays and The soups are usually good as well. But when you order an entree you over pay for a sub-par quality. This particular experience the server was very stoic, And not very talkative. Daughter ordered the kids hamburger, which was dry. Ordered two soups which were good. Wife had the Chicken Capri which was ok, simply drowned in some white glaze. This dish should be listed at $13 not $17. On again was just ok. I ordered the Pastrami Burger which was juicy, but lacked simple salt seasoning, and the fries were ok as well. On an unusual side note we ordered club soda (soda water) , and there was this taste of mold. Not sure if this was from the ice or the soda water line. I do not think we will returning. Unless im really craving a Ruben.

We have been to a bunch of different TooJay’s locations and have always been fans of the restaurant - this is no exception! We came here for Passover dinner recently (they did have a pre-set meal option but we opted to choose our own dishes) and received great food and great service at a very reasonable price! We got a bunch of different things ranging from their famous matzo ball soup, nova latkes, chopped liver and cheese blintzes as appetizers, to the TooJay’s Classic and the beef brisket dip as our entrees. Everything was really good! They always have a really solid corned beef and pastrami sandwich, so I’d always recommend getting The Classic when you come here, the matzo ball soup tasted exactly as it should, and the other appetizers were very satisfying as well. There aren’t too many delis like this in the Orlando area, so it’s nice we have TooJay’s! Check this place out next time you’re in the area!

Diner food is one of my favorite things. And, in my opinion, the mark of a great diner is a great Reuben. So, I tried TooJay's based on their ratings here and proximity to the Westgate Lakes if that helps anyone. First, overall impression of their presentation of the sandwich: 5 for 5. Traditional, nice portion, creative take; the way they roll the meat on the sandwich. Just really nice. Bread was great. Nice cook. Beautiful. That said, they meat was tough, and they could go a little heavier on the dressing. (I recommend getting a side of Thousand Island...which is also great on the fries BTW, which are also steak-cut, came out hot/fresh and are delicious.) The slaw was particularly good. Fresh. Not wet. Not too sweet. Cold. Nice. And a great pickle for dessert. No wonder they've been there since '81. Enjoy!
