Completely disappointed after much anticipation and enthusiasm for their opening. I went at 9:30pm mid week of their second week of opening. The parking lot was almost full and the drive through still had a long line so I went inside and to my astonishment not a single grand opening special was to be seen !! Not one poster in the window, none on the walls NOTHING !! I can't believe Popeyes would come into our town without a gift for our residents. Chick fil A gave free food and offered great deals for a year !!! Putting that ridiculousness aside, I had to wait 13 mins for a simple 8 piece order with biscuits and one large side. After being called to the counter to pickup my order, I got an apology for the wait because they didn't have any legs but was assured the order was complete now. NOPE !! No legs, 4 wings instead, he also forgot the biscuits and side until I reminded him and he was a manager of some kind.The place was packed with employees so no excuses for wait or the mistake and $20 for 8 pieces of chicken, 4 biscuits and 1 large side of mash potatoes !! Unbelievable !! I guess they will find out how the word spreads real quick in a small town and this town is one of the toughest for new places to eat. They'll get enough traffic from 95 to stay around but I will predict it will be years before they see a profit from that big brand new store. Read moreThe one near I-95 in Stuart is the absolute worst Popeye's. It doesn't matter what you order or WHEN you order it. If you go there with a specific item in mind trust me when I say they will NOT have it. How can you run out of a main item staple at 1pm? It has always been this way. Long before Covid. I have placed three orders for pick up on the website and when you go to get it, not only do they not have it ready they cannot find your order number. They never receive your online order. They always say it isn't their fault they didn't get your order. Then who is to blame?!?! If you walk in, whomever is in line in ahead of you is sure to be complaining about something that wasn't done properly. Or the service is s-l-o-w. I once waited 35 minutes for my food ordered thru the drive thru. The food if you can get what you want is ALWAYS good and hot. The staff is friendly and I don't blame them. The management is to blame. They need to fire whomever manages this dumpster fire and hire someone who knows what they are doing. When placing my order and being cut off everytime I said 2 words over intercom... I literally felt like they where mocking me or playing a prank on me....as there tone was condescending... put with the fact that I visit this location 4 - 7 times per week as I am technically there neighbor ( 5 properties away ) I politely said " Please may I finish speaking "... You would have thought I threatened someone... I was told " oh no not today " by the rude condescending male vioce. Then a female voice rudely told me it was there procedure to do it this way ... that I needed to leave because they were not going to serve me ( at this point I would not have eaten the food anyway ). I was not being impolite or speaking condescendingly... I do not know a more polite way I could have gone about it.
