My friend and I were looking for a place to go for breakfast. She suggested Rams I told her the food and prices are usually okay but the service always sucks. I always feel like a number in a cafeteria. I told her though the location is good so we decided to try it again. We got there had to wait almost 30 minutes. They were rude when they went to seat us. They got confused called us then told us we'd have to wait another 10 minutes I told them we had already been waiting they ended up seating us realizing that we were in fact already waiting. Then we get seated we had to wait on everything wait for a high chair. I had to ask 2x for an extra plate and extra napkins. Then we get our food and she brings us the check right away. I asked if I could get a tea to go she gave me a hard time. I had to ask for a togo box 2x. My friend had to ask for her juice and coffee several times. The bathroom had no toilet paper. I had to ask for a bag. We weren't in there more then an 1:15 and most of it was waiting on things we've asked for multiple times. When she finally brought us extra napkins she brought 2 napkins. There were four of us there 2 of which were kids. As if this service wasn't horrible enough she had the nerve to ask us to leave because there was a line at the door. Meanwhile there were multiple empty tables. I don't know if she thought we were asking to much of her. If she didn't like the fact my son is sensory disabled and wasn't ordering off the menu. Either way service like this is unexcusable and we will...
Read moreI had very high hopes of this place based on reviews and being touted as a family restaurant. I looked forward to seeing and getting the feeling my dad had from these family restaurants. Unfortunately that was not the case today… the first day of the new year. The atmosphere was nice but only if you were part of the “in crowd” apparently and that affects your service. As a first timer here… I felt ignored, service was very slow, drink not filled and it was water. A long time for simple Sandwiches… a club and grilled cheese… took much longer and a customer that arrived 10-15 minutes or more after I was there, received their cooked food well before our simple sandwiches. But they appeared part of the “in crowd.” I was also at the front area which was surrounded by staff in their own world and personal conversations. Rags that were used to clean windows were also used to wipe tables. They also randomly closed early with no notification and turned even customers they knew away. Right now business is hard. I know I wouldn’t turn customers away and I’d try to earn customers trust. Again the food was good but the service… which is why you go out to eat… was...
Read moreI have been here 3 times before, and during covid mind you, when I received better service. The restaurant was at 25% capacity when I arrived. I waited nearly 10 mins for anyone to approach the table and take a drink order, but still didn't have a menu. When my coffee was served with the requested cream and sugar, I had to wait 3 more mins for a spoon to stir it, as I hadn't been given flatware until I was there nearly 15 mins. When my order of scrambled eggs, toast, and grits was served, the waitress set the plate down and turned to walk away. I has to request salt and pepper, as well as butter for my grits. I wasn't asked if I wanted jam for my toast or ketchup or hot sauce for my eggs. Good thing I didn't want any. I understand that nothing is left on the table due to covid, as was the standard in the past. But after nearly a year of dealing with this pandemic, I expect the wait staff to have a routine to fulfill customers needs without waiting for the customer to ask for utensils and condiments at every stage of service. The food was good or the rating would have been lower...
