Iâm a born and raised Puerto Rican 100% and I love Spanish food! I wasnât sure if this place was even open because the sign was extremely faded. But I will stopped to check it out. Parking is very small and hard to park if theyâre full. I came in for the first time today and there was a lady on the phone the whole time by the register. I approached the food line and no one was there to greet me or say anything. There was no menu posted anywhere or any hanging up at all. So by this point Iâm confused and just wanna walk out⌠but I walked closer and someone came out and I told her that this was my first time there and how do I order. So I told her my order and she was very friendly and pleasant (the only reason I pretty much stayed). The other lady was still on the phone. Iâm about to pay and she was still on the phone⌠didnât even acknowledge me. Then, I asked her âOh you have âfriturasâ? Nice!â And I asked âWhat kind do you have?â Because you couldnât really see inside the container from the scratches and the plastic was really bad. She opened the box but didnât even talk to me. So I keep asking her âwhat kind are they?â Because I canât see inside of them so⌠well at this point I just wanted to pay and leave. The food was alright⌠not the best but OK. Santiagoâs has better food quality and quantity for sure!!! Santiagoâs still my favorite! I barely had meat in mine.. mostly rice and beans. I usually have left overs from Santiagoâs- I ate the whole plate from Ramonaâs and was a little disappointed....

Read moreThis place use to be good and it just keeps disappointing. The staff are so so and the food blah. Disclaimer I'm Latina and don't look it, with that being said I work with a lot of other Latinas and we all love to order food together especially good food. This place doesn't offer doordash, curbside or delivery but it's 3 minutes from the job so we order and I go in to pick up. Their English is very broken and my Spanish is par. I walk in to pick up and I respond in Spanish only to have them stare in shock and say oh the white girl can speak Spanish. I get teased at work because I'm super pale lol but come on puerto Ricans Cubans Spanish we all come in different colors. Every time I went to go pick up food we ordered (mind you I called it in and they don't really speak english) they would make remarks like I didn't understand until I had enough and spoke back and I haven't been back since. Not only was the food not that great anymore but the staff no longer made a place I'd want to...
