I called to seek help for a part for my air conditioning. I asked an employee in the parking lot if he'd come take a look at the broken ac part that I had in the back of the car. It's heavy and I'm disabled and couldn't carry it into the store. He said he'd be right back to help, but he never returned. It was a very hot day and after he didn't return for 15 minutes, I called into the store. I was put on hold for 8 minutes while someone tried to track the guy down. To make matters worse, I got hung up on. So I called back and explained my situation. I was "assured" they would help me right away.... But after 12 minutes on hold that time, I hung up and called back. The woman assured me she'd help me bc she felt badly that I had waited so long with no help. Meanwhile, my special-needs children in the middle seat were screaming bc they were so hot and aggravated. So, I called once again and asked for a manager. A man came out right away and told me they couldn't help me bc they didn't sell that piece that we needed. So, ultimately I spent almost an hour in the parking lot only to find out they couldn't help me. I'm disappointed, overall. I'm not upset they didn't have the part. That's not their fault. But the lack of communication and attention to my needs really turned me off to this business. It's sad too, bc each person I spoke with was nice and courteous. But somewhere along the lines, there was a breakdown of communication or a...
Read moreA couple of weeks ago my wife and I came to this store for their plumbing expertise and specific parts for a minor plumbing task to replace 2 bathroom shower escutcheons that were rusted. We brought the fittings we needed with us to show them. The employee, Abimael, informed us he had never seen the part we were looking for and didn't know where we could get it. He sold us a different longer part that required the pipe to be cut. Even after we cut the pipe, the part stuck out too far to be covered with the new escutcheon. It turns out the part we were looking for is called a Shower WallNut, which we later found on their website (Part #S61602C, Item #1204127). However, since we cut the pipe, we can no longer use the Shower WallNut, nor can we use the part he sold us. We had to call a plumber. With the correct parts, we could have replaced the fittings for less than $20. The plumbers price for the repairs needed (walls have to be cut open) for both showers is $1,400. How disappointing and...
