Smac's Shack — Restaurant in Florida

We live in Hobe Sound and recently saw this road side Food truck parked in the Indian Motorcycle parking lot and said, "Heck... Let's try it." Glad we did. My wife had the Lobster roll and she is somewhat of an expert on lobster rolls and she said these are as good as it gets in Maine. I had a the Shrimp Salad roll and that was equally as delicious. Not the cheapest of food trucks, but you will not be disappointed in the quality and taste. These are fresh and you can tell (not the least bit watery). We're fan's and will definitely be back. .

Living in florida for over 20 years I have been on the search for an authentic, delicious lobster roll. A lot of local seafood places around here offer rolls occasionally as a special, but always want to put their "Florida twist" on a New England classic. Smac's Shack keeps the lobster roll in its purest form. Delicious toasted roll stuffed with large chunks of delicious, sweet, and fresh lobster meat. Excellent. Chowder and stuffed clams were top notch as well. I'm glad this truck is close by, and I will definitely be going back to try everything else on the menu.
