The Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Is Spectacular! If you enjoy or crave a great pork tenderloin sandwich, Steve's needs to be your go to place. We visited back in July and had to stop in again for lunch earlier this week. It's a small place at the end of a strip mall with plenty of parking. Inside is just like most strip mall diners, nothing real noteworthy. The servers here are great, especially Georgie! A tiny lady who's as friendly as can be, that can steer you to whatever you have a taste for. She hooked us on the tenderloin sandwich in July and had no trouble convincing me to try the soup on this visit. My wife ordered the Hoosier which is the pork tenderloin sandwich with a side of fruit ($12.99). I had a cup of the Chicken Tortellini Soup (maybe $4.00) and a Side Salad with Italian dressing ($4.99). The Hoosier is deep fried with a lightly seasoned breading, served on a toasted bun, with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and mayo if requested. A little crunchy on the outside, moist and tender inside. The pic's say it all! The fruit was fresh, cold and delicious. My soup had a very rich flavor, thick with chicken in a thicker tomato broth with a few tortellini. The side salad had all the usual components, fresh and crisp and a good tasting Italian dressing. The combo was a perfect lunch. They also have tap and bottled beer and wine at very fair prices. Don't pass this place up! Great, Once Again! 11-29-23 We stopped in for lunch and Steve's hit the mark again. My wife had the Hoosier Sandwich ($13.99) again. A monstrously huge savory, juicy breaded pork tenderloin sandwich with a fresh fruit cup side. I had the Steve Junior Salad ($10.99). Crispy lettuce topped with an abundance of ham, turkey, hard boiled egg, mozzarella cheese, red onion and croutons. I selected the Italian Dressing which was a little creamy, very flavorful and not as vinegary as Italian dressings typically are. We should have split either the sandwich or the salad as there is plenty there for two. Great job Steve's! Just had to go again! This time for breakfast. My wife ordered the Spinach Mushroom Swiss Bacon Omelette With Home Fries and I ordered a Full Order of Biscuits and Gravy with Home Fries. The omelette was LOADED with all the goodies. The B's and G's come with two biscuits, fluffy, not stuffy and a tasty sausage loaded gravy seasoned just right with black pepper. These home fries are the bomb. Probably did a little time on the flat top, then deep fried. Crunchy outside, soft inside. You rock, Steve's!

Steve’s place is a gem, best word. Because it has a homey Mayberry RFD lunch counter, tables and booths - with a waiting line at 6:40PM tonight - a TUESDAY night, RIGHT? A home cooked meal in a home town setting. That almost completes my review, and I do many, but Steve’s Place DESERVES More - You too. The Food is Delicious and the portion sizes are ridiculously large without huge potatoes or other starches. Even more ridiculous, given the above is the LOW PRICES - Yet Quality Food. At $8.99 My BLT Dip was enough for two smaller adult meals - especially if you added a salad or side vegetables À la cart. (Learned me that up in Raleigh Sheriff Taylor! The pork tenderloin sandwich hangs over the plate’s edges and is perfectly slow cooked. BEST “GO-TO” are the BRAISED Chicken WINGS ! 5/6 LARGE Chunky W I N G S $9/10. Braised means an oil laden Pressure Cooker at 500 PSI essentially FLASH FRYING the BIRD ! Finally, the PEOPLE / Staff there are genuinely sweet and make you feel like you are visiting an old relatives’ HOME , not BUYING DINNER

Steve’s Place 7-19-20 This place is known for its Broasted Chicken and Hoosier Platters. We arrived about 11:25 am on a Friday. The place was not that busy and we got a table right away. This place was neat and clean. The waitress came over right away to give us menus. I ordered something different than the Broasted Chicken this time. I had the Broasted Chicken before, and it was very good in fact it’s the best place to go if you’re hungry for that in this area. We ordered the Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Coleslaw platter. Our order came out quickly and it was good. The only problem we found was it could have been a lot hotter. It was just warm but not cool enough to return it. By the time we got down to the last couple bites everything was cold. All in all the food was good and if it had been hotter I would not have subtracted a couple stars on this review. I give this place 3 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐ Follow me on FB for more Reviews. Gulf Coast Terry

First: I love the waitstaff! Fast, efficient, and friendly.

Second: Food portions are ridiculously huge!

Third: Fresh! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection!

I had shrimp and grits 😋 the shrimp were huge, and grits were cooked great 👍 Warning: ⚠️ Lots of garlic! Lots! You better love garlic 😆and your family and friends better love you (even with garlic breath)

My daughter had fish and chips. Fish was excellent ( I think it's the best dish 😋) So fresh! And came with waffle fries, just made.

Her friend had a chicken salad sandwich 🥪 on a croissant and sweetpotato fries that were quite tasty 😋 (Lots of mayo in the salad)

Oh yeah 😎 Get the onion rings!!!!😋 Fresh, good, decent coffee ☕️👍 ( I am very demanding 🫴 when it comes to ☕️)

Atmosphere: For me, it was a throwback to NYC type diner. Narrow, crowded, busy, clean, and it works!

Home-style fare. Locals might feel the sticker shock at first, but when you see the portions and taste the freshness and care that goes into each dish, you realize, in 2025,it really is a good bargain. 👍 I do recommend going to Steve's Place in North Fort Myers, Florida! Whether you're from this area, like I am, a tourist/snowbird, or just passing through, I think you're gonna like it here ...

I hate to leave bad reviews. but this one got to me. this is my first experience with this place. I called today 3/8/25 130pm for a Togo order. my finance and I viewed the menu online before calling. the woman asks if I can be placed on hold said sure not a problem waited she never said her name i was so upset i just couldn't even continue speaker with the woman. I started the order got to my finances order he is hard of hearing so I had to translate for him his order. I informed her I have to translate to him what comes on the sandwich so I know what to have her put on it. as I am asking him she cuts me off and tells me she's busy and doesn't have time for me to translate. she said I'll give you everything do u want fries. didn't even give me chance to tell her what needed to come off the sandwich. continued to rush me off the phone I told her nevermind she is very unprofessional I understand completely when it is busy and being patient waiting, i was trasnlating as fast i could but her attitude was one of the rudest I have ever encountered. for a first time customer extremely disappointed in the...
