Stinger Ray's — Restaurant in Florida

If I could give this place a 0, I would please trust the reviews; they are very true! I walked into the place and the lady who "shakes" a lot said can i help you and i didn’t respond because i was not sure who she was talking to because there was a man at the counter who she was speaking with then she said "what do you want" i said i just want to order she goes here or to go i said to go as she begins to walk away she says go to the QR code and order i said ok where is it she goes out there i said I’m sorry where she lets out the BIGGEST HUFF and said over there in a very rude tone at that point i did not want to order anything from this place based on her lack of customer service but this was the only thing open to eat we get the food it’s ok my son was still hungry so i ordered another "pizza" about 20 mins go by and my son went to the counter and asks in a very polite tone do you have an order for amber I immediately went to the counter, and she said, "I need a receipt." My son showed her on his phone that the order was paid for, and she said, "I can’t take that. Where is your receipt?" So I stepped in and told the rude "shaking" lady that we do not have a receipt, and I had nothing in my email because there was no option to put my email address anywhere. The lady goes, "Well, I’ve been here, and there is no receipt for anything." I said, "Okay, let me look." She then turns to her co-worker and says she supposedly has a receipt for an order. I said, "Not supposedly; I made an order." I said, "Well, I don’t think we have anything, do we?" The man said yes. Then she turns back and says, "I ask everyone for their receipt, not just "your kind." I said, "Excuse me, and I walked away to the guy who was making the pizza for my son. I walked away from her to the other side where her coworker is, and before I could take a breather, she said he checks tickets too, and he hasn’t printed anything! At this point, I have completely blocked this woman out. I walked away because I did not want to cause a scene. The pizza is done, and my son goes for the pizza. She says, "Did you find the receipt?" and I say, "Listen, I am the one that paid for it. Why are you asking my 11-year-old son about a receipt?" She says, "Listen, I have an audit that is happening, and I need to account for everything." I cut her off and said, "What do you need to see?" I showed her my bank information, which shows the two orders I made at separate times. I told her you have been rude since we came to the bar to ask a question; your customer service is horrible and slightly racist. I walked away. Please stay away from this place. The white lady who shakes all the time when she talks to you has the worst attitude I have ever encountered! Whoever she is, she should be fired immediately. I would much rather starve than order any food...

What a disgusting place. I’m not sure where to start. There was one bald guy with glasses and had a grey bread. I have never come into contact with such a disgusting human being. He said his name was Jerry but I wouldn’t believe a word that came out of that slime balls mouth.

I regret to say that my recent visit to stinger rays was utterly disappointing. It's rare that I feel compelled to write such a negative review, but my experience was so appalling that I feel it's necessary to warn others.

First and foremost, the cleanliness of the restaurant was severely lacking. From the moment I walked in, I noticed an unpleasant odor lingering in the air, which only worsened as I made my way to the table. The floors were sticky, and the tables looked like they hadn't been properly wiped down in days. I watched “Jerry” kick a pizza tray from the middle of the restaurant to back behind the counter. I could not believe my eyes. It slid along the ground by people that had to avoid it by stepping out of the way quickly. This was one of the wooden trays that is directly served to the customer, the trays we were eating our food off of!! It just showed how trashy this guy really was. It's unacceptable for a dining establishment to neglect basic hygiene standards in this manner.

As if the state of the restaurant wasn't bad enough, the service I received was by far the worst I've ever encountered. The employee who attended to our table seemed disinterested and downright rude. It was as if they took pleasure in seeing customers dissatisfied. Our orders were repeatedly mixed up, and when we tried to address the mistakes, we were met with nothing but attitude and disdain.

What truly baffled me was the apparent lack of concern for customer satisfaction. It was evident that the employee took pleasure in our frustration, which is not only unprofessional but also downright disrespectful.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against dining at stinger rays. The unsanitary conditions and abysmal service make it a place to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out dining...

My family found the QR code to place an order on their outdoor signage. We just wanted to grab a few boxed pizzas to go with us while we waited to board our flight. Since we knew it would be a few minutes we went inside to sit at a table to wait for them to call our order ready. If the place had been busy, we would have waited by the door, but there was plenty of open seating. The waitress (blonde hair in a ponytail & glasses) came over & she said we could use the QR code on the table to order. We told her we had already ordered to go on the menu outside & that we were just waiting to grab our pizzas & go. She then proceeded to go to the corner of the bar where she talked crap about us ordering from the sign outside while making direct eye contact with me!! She clearly didn't listen to a word we said because she started shouting at the cooks our orders were for dine in even though we JUST explained that we wanted the pizzas to go. She stood there talking crap about us where we could hear & see her only a few feet away from us until we got our order & left. Funny she said "Next time order on the table" THERE WON'T BE...
