Subway — Restaurant in Florida

When I walked in, there was only one person working so I PATIENTLY waited about ten minutes for my turn to order. I told the man working what I wanted and he asked if I had a coupon. I let him know that I did have a coupon. The coupon was for any two footlong subs for $9.99. He told me that I couldn't use the coupon for the two sandwiches that I chose. I could only use it for certain sandwiches. Basically, any of the sandwiches that were ALREADY $5 is what I could use the coupon for. Let me repeat that.. THE SANDWICHES THAT WERE ALREADY $5 IS WHAT I COULD USE THE TWO FOOTLONGS FOR $9.99 COUPON FOR. blankstare What type of sense does that make?? Genuinely, the most stupid thing I've heard all day.

We were going for a picnic lunch so while my wife looked around Publix for what she wanted, I went next door to the Subway to get a footlong. There was one person checking out when I arrived, so I was quickly picking my bread, size, meat, and everything else for my footlong tuna sub. Quick and easy and I was out the door. bread is mushy, $9.99 for the new Italian foot long was a big mistake to not just go next door for a pub sub (Publix) I had a gift card... I would have rather thrown the gift card away and paid for a pub sub than had to try to get that down.. best part of the whole sub was banana peppers and I had to ask 3 times for more because of subways portion control.
