When I thanked the woman with colored dreads in the drive through, she replied by saying, "no problem, for YOU", as to thank me and not my girlfriend who was the one who ordered. We were both perfectly polite the entire time, and she was angry for what I can only assume was being asked to do her job. It wasn't that bad but it was definitely petty and unbecoming of a restaurant that would like to see their customers return which we definitely will not.
All of that would be okay if it weren't for how they messed with my food. So I'm going to preface this by saying that everything other than my soft taco met expectations, hence 2 stars and not 1. I had predicted that this would happen so I checked everything before I ate it. Not to mention that the soft taco was put together like an elementary school sloppy Joe, I found not 1 strand but an entire knot of someone's hair literally INSIDE the food.
I can't provide pictures, I didn't decide to write this review until after I threw it away, but I just want to point out that I don't really care about what they did, as I said it's predictable given the fact that a lot of fast food workers except those with a decent moral character I guess need to be talked to a certain way or asked not to do too much work. They think they don't get paid enough and it shows. This "certain way" behooves me, as my girlfriend spoke perfectly pleasant and even thanked her for her patience throughout the entire process. I guess it just wasn't enough.
Buyer beware, these people are willing to deliberately mess...
Read moreThis Taco Bell offers a reliably good experience when it comes to food preparation. The quality and consistency of their dishes are commendable, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared meals that meet expectations every time. Whether you're ordering a classic Crunchwrap Supreme or one of their creative limited-time offerings, you can trust that the food will be up to par.
Unfortunately, the drive-thru experience can be hit or miss. While the service is generally prompt, the staff sometimes lack the enthusiasm and warmth that can make a fast-food stop feel more inviting. The interactions at the drive-thru often come across as routine, leaving customers with a somewhat dull and impersonal experience. This is an area where a bit more engagement and energy could go a long way in enhancing customer satisfaction.
On the other hand, the in-store staff at this location are a different story. They are consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure a positive dining experience. Whether you're dining in or picking up an order inside, the staff make an effort to greet customers warmly and accommodate any special requests. Their professionalism and courteous demeanor create a welcoming atmosphere that contrasts with the less lively drive-thru service.
Overall, while the Taco Bell on N Monroe Street delivers well-prepared food, improving the drive-thru staff's engagement could elevate the overall experience to match the high standard set by the...
Read moreI just spent $45 on a mobile order and waited and 1 hour to get my food!
I placed my order online then was sent a text message that it would be ready in less than 15 minutes and was told to go to the counter to pick it up. I get there 20 minutes after the text message. The lobby is closed and we are told to get in the drive through. The drive through is backed up with maybe 5 cars at least. I told the employee that the whole reason that we ordered online was so we wouldn't have to wait in the drive through and I asked if my order could be handed to me. I was told my order was not ready and I could park and wait or go through the drive through. I chose to wait. 30 more minutes pass and then we finally get half our order. As the employee brings out the rest of the order the bottom of the box fell out and all the tacos fell to the ground, I asked if we could just get the refund for those because I didn't want to wait any longer, she replied that they already started on it. It is not until 15 minutes later we get the rest of the order. So what should have been an order that would be done in "less than 15 minutes", I did not get my food until 1 hour after placing my order. And even if we chose to go through the drive through, the most likely situation would be we still would have been told to wait. I understand it gets busy but this situation was ridiculous--don't offer mobile ordering if it cannot be fulfilled...
