tacos don chente — Restaurant in Florida

I purchased 2 of the tongue tacos which were delicious. I also purchased the birria taco plate which comes with 4 tacos. I was asked if I wanted the consome which threw me off a bit but I said yes and then looked up at the poster to see that they charge 2 dollars extra for it. I paid 21.04 for these 6 tacos and consome. The birria tacos were not to my liking. I know different people make them and like them different ways so that's why I said not to my liking as opposed to they were not good. There was no cilantro or onions on the taco or on the plate (see picture this was after the taco had gotten cold fyi). So my question is what exactly are they selling aside from meat and cheese on the double tortillas if a person opts to not pay for the consome. The service was nice and I got my food...

Three stars because the tacos de tripa were good, flautas were filled with dry shredded chicken, very little and no avocado (which was noted) or queso cotija like usual flautas. Got tons of tomatoes and lettuce reminded me of a “taco salad” The green salsa was very! Runny very also light green like it was made with too much water and not enough jalapeños and not spicy, red salsa also runny and not spicy either. Service was okay, but I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged until we started to order then we were spoken to. $12-$13 for flautas , sorry...

Fantastic tacos at a very reasonable price. We tried both the chicken and steak tacos and were very pleased with both. Both plates are served to go with your standard green and red salsas and fresh line slices. The salsas were also good and had a little kick to them (so difficult to find in the area).
