We rented a couple of seadoos for some fun on the lakes and it was great. The equipment was practically new and in top condition. (I liked the onboard Bluetooth connection so we could play our music from the boat’s speakers… some older models I’ve seen other places don’t have that option.) Another thing was the PFDs were new clean and not soiled. I’ve rented at other places where the PFDs were gross. The owner, Jay, was super well organized, did a good job with training, and it was efficient and not a burden. I strongly suggest using the online paperwork option so you get all the disclosure and legal forms completed before you arrive…doing it in your home in the AC is better than than while your group is on the beach waiting in the sunshine.🌞 I found a two hour rental is a good length of time for getting around a majority of the chain of lakes. If you are tubing or doing other activities with folks you may want to rent for longer. One hour is great, but you’ll be planning your next trip back as soon as you can book it. Take a beverage or two with you. The units have storage for a soft side small cooler to keep two or three water bottles cold. You could also easily fit a towel and a change of clothes if needed. The seadoos also have a separate secure dry space for a wallet, keys, with a storage slot inside to keep your phone from bouncing around. All around, Jay is an excellent operator and makes it fun and easy. His pricing includes everything (including fuel), so you just park the seadoo and walk away when your time is up… super convenient. He works off the beach next to Harborside restaurant so if you have non-riding members of your group they can order a meal or drink while you’re on the lakes. I’ll be back with some friends. Scooters Rentals is the place to go for waverunner rentals on the Chain of Lakes. Jay took great care of our rental group. From prebooking questions I peppered him with via email through to returning the machines; Jay was super helpful, very responsive and just a nice, easy to talk to guy.

All the machines are in great condition and very fast for rentals. Each wave runner we rode was able to get over 50 mph when opened up.

Bonus is that the pickup/drop off is in the parking lot of Harborside restaurant on Lake Shipp so you can grab a bite before riding and/or a bite/drink after...

This place is amazing ! I had sooo much fun. We woke up early and went like at 830 am, thank God we did because towards the afternoon it started getting so hot. We had Billy help us through some of it ! He was soooo amazing with explaining everything especially if you've never rode one by yourself before, he takes his time to explain everything to you without making you feel dumb.
