THE CUBAN CORNER FOOD TRUCK — Restaurant in Florida

I ordered red beans as part of one entree, and in addition, a side of Black beans, plantains, and rice as additional sides. The black beans I eat with rice because that's one of my few options as a vegetarian at a cuban place. They only gave me red beans. When I called, I got no answer. So I texted and was told that the beans were in the Vaca Frita mixed in. Ok, I thought to myself, they got the beans confused. All I got from the owner was "sorry". That's it. I guess people don't try to keep customers, I thought to myself. I didn't make a fuzz. I moved on. When my husband got to his food at dinner time, it was not only dry, but also the beans that were supposed to be mixed in the food were nowhere to be found. I won't be visiting this establishment anymore. They have zero vegetarian options, and if you think you will get your order as you ask, you don't, and they offer no regrets. I know that other businesses would offer to give me extra beans or make-up for it in my next visit, but don't expect that from this...

An expensive and disappointing way to figure out that I do not like Cuban food. Pale, tasteless food with no sort of sauce or anything to make it appealing. I ordered the grilled bone-in pork chops based on the picture that they had advertised and that is definitely not what I got. I ordered a Cuban tamale (as a side, as it was on the menu as a side) but It wasn't supposed to be there obviously because they charged me $5 and something for it. I love tamales, but apparently not a Cuban tamale which is just a load of the tamale corn paste with no meat or filling and then some over fried pork skins sprinkled on top. Why is this even a thing?! Who would eat this!? And the parking lot is next to a mechanic shop where truckers park their rigs and people at the shop kept coming over to the food truck screaming that they needed to move before they get towed. We needed something good to eat coming back down to south florida from Orlando and its location was REALLY convenient because it is near i95 and the turnpike junctions making it easy to jump off and on in fort pierce. We had rice black beans and plantains with grilled chicken for $16 and some change and their tamales are okay ($4ea) but wasn’t impressed to much with it because there is no meat inside of it BUT they do give you fried pork bites or whatever their called with it (had about 4-5 pork little bites).
