This was my first time trying Peruvian food, it was a major disappointment. I'm a truck driver. I parked at love's, walked over and got my food to go. The disappointment started while I was ordering. I went to pay for my food and one of my $10 bills had a corner missing. They completely refused to take it, with no explanation as to why. It's a valid bill that still has both serial numbers and the majority of it intact still. But I learned long ago not to argue with ignorance, so I used a different bill. I definitely paid for overpriced food. The potato appetizer I ordered was completely cold and tasteless when I ate it. The egg was a nice touch to the dish though. The beef noodles I ordered tasted like Chinese noodles with broccoli beef, only without the broccoli and twice as expensive. The one good thing is that the dish was still very hot when I ate it. Usually, whenever I try ethnic dishes I haven't had before, they're full of flavor. Not here though. It seems like they're using the "Peruvian" name to justify charging high prices for very basic dishes.

The food here was pretty good. I dined here last week for lunch and enjoyed the meal. I didn't have too much of an appetite at the moment (which is rare), but everything was pretty good. The person in the group who chose to dine here knew what they were talking about. I recently found out that they've got a location not too far from where I am, so I'll have to give them a try. Next time I'm back in the Ft. Pierce area, I'll be sure to swing by here. They get bonus points because they offer Ginger Ale (Schweppes). One of the people in the group recommended the sauces, but I didn't try any. I'll have to go for them next time. Also, they had a gumball machine near the door, which was interesting. Not to mention, they've got neon Bud Light and Budweiser signs in the windows, so that's alright in my book.

We were excited to find a La Granja in somewhat proximity to where we were staying for our vacation. We traveled 17 miles wanting to experience the same awesome flavor we knew from years ago when we frequented the La Granja in West Palm Beach. Well, I don’t even think the person who cooks at this location is Peruvian. Absolutely no flavor at all. I think a Publix rotisserie chicken would have been better. Nothing was good. The beans, the beef, the pork, the French fries were so plain. How sad! Also, they supposedly close at 10 pm but they started putting all the chairs up on the tables at 9. At some point all the tables surrounding us were all set to close. This picture was taken at 9:32, when we were already done eating.

Food is great, but if you’re going to order a take out over the phone, be prepared to stand in line when you arrive, because they do get busy with guests most of the time and they don’t have an additional personnel to charge you and hand out your order; so you will be standing in line waiting for the dinning-in guests that most likely will be in front of you make their minds to finally place their orders, in the meantime you're waiting in line while your take out order is sitting next to the register getting cold and I like to at least consume my food hot because cold food sucks. I asked the question as to why isn't there anyone who could take care of the take out orders when they have in heavy traffic in the peak hours and their response was, “we are too small to have an additional personnel to take care of that.” Then if you cannot have anyone else, allow the ones who ordered take outs over the phone while the undecided dining-in guest makes their minds, because my food is sitting right next to the register and all you need from me is the mode of payment and off I go. These business has been running for years, and they keep busy most of the times I go there to either dine-in or when I go to pick my take out order...the being a small restaurant doesn't change the fact that the take out should...

Ive been to this particular location twice. Their customer service is lacking not due to the language barriers either, they are just plain rude. First time was closer to closing on a weekday i ordered a number 3 the chicken was burnt to a crisp as if i gotten remainders. i didnt realize it until i made it home.

This time (second time) i made it a point to look at my food, i ordered a number 3 and specifically aked for chicken breast (white meat) and again the chicken was burned (more charred than usual).

I went back in to exchange my piece and waited in line when a lady who seemed like she was in a managerial position head nodded/motioned me to her direction. she grabbed the plate out of my and said 'whats wrong?' I told her. She looks at me incrediously and turns around to the chef/food line men and said something in spanish to which they all laughed. I didnt find it funny. Why did i make the distinction earlier between white and dark meat because they charge extra for white meat and gave me dark meat as a replacement and didnt refund me the difference its not the money its the principal. I will never go back to...
