The Dog House 2 — Restaurant in Florida

Where do I begin? I went to this location to get some food with some friends of mine. After entering we were asked if we were drinking or eating. After answering eating we were informed that the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes. Having some common courtesy I said that we'd go somewhere else for food but the waitress insisted that we sit down saying it's fine as long as we get our orders in before 9. We sat took 10 minutes to order the food and had the orders in by 8:35 pm. The last two of our party came in and ordered by 8:44 pm. We asked what oil they used as we had people in our party who are allergic to peanuts. Waitress didn't know and didn't ask. After waiting almost an hour for our food and the waitress not checking on it being more interested in her personal friends conversation, we decided to leave and pay for our drinks. After getting some attitude from the waitress. She informed us that it was a $20 minimum for credit. So we ended up paying $20 for $11 worth of drinks. Normally I'm pretty tolerant, but this place is awful. We found out as we were paying that the grill needed to be restarted and that's why the food took as long as it did. Vital piece of equipment turned off and we were still told to stay and then given attitude when we had to leave. We’ve been there twice over the last month . Both times had a skinny long hair blonde older woman wait on us unsure if she owned the bar or not . Both times she had a bad attitude, as if we were bothering her .It took forever to get drinks and to take our order , they were not busy . There was five of us the first time but the second time we got up and left cause she was too busy talking to someone and both times witnessed her drinking. We did give food 4 stars cause we ate the first time Cheeseburgers and fries which were good .We heard the wings were good and came back to order them but that server didn’t seem interested in taking our order . The Dog House is a rustic roadside bar & grill with a neighborhood bar vibe. They have shaded outside seating. Today, I picked up a cheeseburger & fries for takeaway. The burger was tasty.👍The toppings were fresh, and the bun was really good. Krinkle cut fries are my favorite. These would have been better if they had spent a little longer in the fryer. They weren't busy when I stopped by, and my order came out quickly.
