Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Florida

Ok so the girl that took my order was awesome! She was very nice , knowledgeable and quick! She's going to be a great bartender! And the kitchen workers , not so good....it isn't the food itself, because we ate there last week and enjoyed it so much we wanted it again , even bragging to my neighbors and book club " hey! You've got to try Tijuana Fats tacos! They're like 2 tacos 🌮 😋 in one BAM! YUM! 😋 But this time , ( Thursday the 22nd of July 2021 @ Hwy 54 & Collier Pkwy in Lutz, Fl 33549)....I ordered to be picked up , just like last time...and it was for my disabled mother , who doesn't really leave the house to go out to eat...EVER! SO! Taco ( soft , is SQUISHY. lettuce is "rotten";turning dark;tomatoes 2 small chunks, the cheese looked like sour cream , not grated cheddar, for real! Black beans ??WHERE ???? this was to replace chicken or steak as a protein🤔🥺so she got No Protein today! Wowza ....even the dog didn't l ike the other taco mom gave him cuz she wanted no part of it..mind you she hadn't eaten all day & was really looking forward to it! Taco Bell would've been way better than this and it was WHAT$$$ 14.37!!! FOR 2 TACOS , ONE SCOOP ( literal tablespoon ) of rice and beans! Thats it ! Omg!!! If it hadn't been 9:30 we would've gone back and complained and brought it back 2nd Taco never eaten , the racoon did eat s o me of it though around 4 am , I actually fed it to him myself, threw it right...

Greeted with lovely smiles and an adorable waitress who placed our orders. She made sure I got the most food for the cheapest price, since I was starving. Inside, you can find a beautiful mosaic of ceiling tiles that show abstract art. While you dine in there's a lot to look at to keep your eyes as busy as your mouth chomping down on great mexican food. There are also hilarious bumper stickers randomly placed throughout the store for enjoyment. I ordered a WET steak burrito and made it a combo. You have the option to have queso smothered all over your beautiful-- hence making it WET. It was delicious and filling... The burrito almost took up the whole Togo container I asker to be provided with my meal. An extra side of rice, beans, a handful of chips, and a sprite only cost an extra few dollars. Lets just say I had to take home plenty of left overs! There's a hot sauce bar where you can try out different flavors and if you love one you can even buy a bottle before you go. In addition to my delicious meal... I thought it is pretty neat that you can order margaritas 4 for $20, as well as order them Togo! I will most definitely be a returning customer! I recently visited Tijuana Flats for the first time, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences my family and I have had in a while! Although there was a small mistake with my order, the incredible service provided by the manager, Bee, and associate, Lauren, completely made up for it.

From the moment we arrived, Bee and Lauren went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They were attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. When the mistake with our order was brought to their attention, they immediately fixed it with no hesitation and even offered us a free dessert as a gesture of goodwill.

Mistakes can happen anywhere, but the way Bee and Lauren handled the situation was a testament to their commitment to exceptional customer service. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive and memorable one.
