We’ve dined here numerous times. Typically have a pretty decent experience. Today was a disaster - and it’s not even busy in here. I ordered 3 salads for take out at 758pm. They said they would be ready in 15 mins. We were coming from the airport and hit traffic so we didn’t arrive until 830. I was told it would be 15 more minutes - because they forgot to put the order in. Annoying, but we went to unpack the car and return for the food. have a daughter who has a gluten/dairy allergy. They’ve always been very accommodating here. We typically just order greens (no cheese) and a plain chicken breast. We return for the food at 900pm, bring it back to the house and there is cheese on the salad. I take it back to the restaurant, the host tells me he told them gf/df - he takes the salad and bring it back 4 minutes later. I asked him if they made a new one, he said yes. I open the styrofoam container and there are still crumbles of cheese in the salad, also stuck to the dressing container. It was clear they had tried to hand-pick the cheese out , gross and borderline dangerous when we’re talking about food allergies. I asked to speak to the manager who literally never apologized and then offered to make me 3 new salads tomorrow. What?!? How about my money back? Or at least take the 1 salad off my bill, or maybe offer me a drink while I wait…again! It’s now 933pm and I’m waiting for them to make the new salad to confirm it’s clean. So terribly disappointed as we have enjoyed our previous dinners here. But this has really ruined it for us, we will...
Read moreTraditions did an all inclusive superbowl event for $80 + tax + grat. It wasn't cheap, but they did perform.
I grabbed the menu earlier in the day and thought it was adequate enough to try, although a bit pricey for the food offerings.
The drinks were 4.5*. Nice selection of beer and liquor. We would've liked some nicer red wines.
Service was a perfect 5*. Karin, Winter and Mary Ellen were so perfectly attentive and kind. Perfection! The bartender, I forget his name, was equally as perfect. I hope this team is retained. We'll come in more often.
Food was a 2.5 to a 3. It was okay. The fish tacos were gross because the hard shell taco shells were stale. I'll eat anything and I still was like...whoa, these aren't very good. My wife quit after her first bite. That should've happen. Food selection was...eeeh...no one was blown away, bit no one was very disappointed either. Spice itbupa bit next year. Do some more creative things. Maybe a shrimp cocktail? You can charge more too. It's Reunion guys...make it a 5 star experience and don't be afraid to charge 5 star pricing.
Tito's vodka had a stand setup. That was really cool. Definitely get vendors to do stuff like that. The whole crowd loved that.
Traditions has gorgeous views and is in the beautiful Reunion Resort. It can, and should be an exclusive diamond. It's...
Read moreFood was fabulous! This is the second time we’ve gone and our service was great as well. Christina was our server the second time and she did a great job. We had the French dip with the best Au jus ever, the fish and chips which was really good and wings that were spectacular! Very possibly the best wings we’d ever had and we go to Buffalo Wild Wings all the time. Even the fries and onions rings were great!
Luckily for management there’s not a category as that would be one star. We are owners, having paid thousands for our ownership, and with that one of the perks is getting 20% off at the restaurants. They also persuaded us to do a presentation and gave us some vouchers they told us were the same as cash at the resort. Today we were given our ownership discount of 20% off our ticket and then went to use our vouchers and were told we didn’t get our 20% owner benefit if we used the vouchers, so they added 20% back onto our tickets so we could use our vouchers. Unbelievably short sighted when they’re paying hundreds at least to attract and incentivize people to buy into their program and expand their ownership because they say they’re “committed to delivering amazing vacation experiences”. Details matter, so they can keep their 20% and I’ll keep my tens of thousands instead of expanding...
