My family and I visited the Spectrum Resort for 9 days in June 2023 to July 2023 and wow 👌 we didn't want to leave. We rented a 4 bedroon condo/ loft for my family of 5, and it was amazing. Each room had 55-inch televisions and 2 family rooms for everyone to relax and e joy the enormous space. The main living room downstairs had a huge sectional that could seat up to 10 people. The upstairs family room had the same setup as the main living space. The entertainment area was located upstairs, and there was a pool table that created a wonderful bonding experience for my son and I to talk about for months to come. We also had our own rooftop deck where we had our breakfast in the mornings. The facility was clean and well maintained with a gorgeous swimming pool. The resort is brand new, and it was truly an amazing experience, and we will definitely be back next year. Thanks, Spectrum, for providing my family with a lasting experience as we celebrated a successful year for our kids' graduations.

We had a great stay at spectrum. Rented one of their houses for our family of three. Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 bads and located at the north entry of the reunion resort. The Pool/waterpark was a 3min car ride over the reunion-grounds. Walmart was a 15min drive, Disney Parks 30min incl. Traffic. General communication was very good, our safe issue was solved within 1h after informing the Front-desk. Downside(s): -there is a lot of traffic on the 192-side of orlando, keep this in mind when planing trips. -house had everything, stuff for the washer, kitchen-soap and so on, but no pepper and salt. Buy it for 1,19$ at walmart or bring it yourself ;-)

This location is very private! It is gated, and you will have room enough for your entire family. Construction is still ongoing, however. The ARCHITECT of these buildings is an ARTIST. Plenty of natural light, big windows and great views! Large balconies for entertainment and relaxation. Private entrances as well.

I'm going to give the good, bad & ugly.||7 of us (myself, my husband, my 70 yr old mother, and our 4 teen/young adults) were traveling to Cape Canaveral from SC to cruise! 1 hour from the port... we received an email that our cruise was cancelled due to a fire on the ship.||Seeing as we had just met and picked up our 23 year old military son from JAX Airport on the way down... we needed to salvage this trip somehow. To spend the week with him. We hadn't seen him in a long time.||So, I start scouring Airbnb, Vrbo, etc.. looking for a resort style accommodation that we could "vacation " at for the week. ||I am a superhost, myself, so I knew to check the listings well to make sure it matched our needs/desires.||Important to me-||1. It have parking at the dwelling. ||(My mother and I both have disabilities. My knees are both shot and Mom has scoliosis of the spine and bad hips)||2. It have restaurants on site to enjoy.||3. It have water features on site to enjoy.||When reading over this listing it says "Park at the homes driveway or garage" cool, ✔️ ||It also pictures and discusses a beautiful waterpark... pool... 2 restaurants.. a sushi bar. ✔️ ||Sounds like we can make a nice week there!||When we arrived... checked in at The Clubhouse as instructed. Was told then.. and only then.. that parking was only permitted in the parking lot in front of the clubhouse. That if we parked at the dwelling... we WOULD BE TOWED. We must walk to the unit from there. ||I explained that both my mother and I had some disabilities and this could be a problem....and that is NOT what was advertised. ||Well, they said there's nothing they could do.||So... we park, in a handicap spot in the parking lot... and trek the 1/3-1/4 mile walk to our unit.||To open the building door and be greeted by a large staircase to climb to get to our front door * also not mentioned on the listing nor pictured.||We are talking 20 stairs, with no landing.. just to reach the entry door. Ugh||So.. we do. ||And lug alll our luggage with us. Oof||We open the door to a GORGEOUS unit. Absolutely stunning. Everything is new and clean and grand. High ceilings, tall doors, etc. ||Inside... there is another set of 20 stairs to reach the pool table area and outside deck. ||I ask the maintenance fella if there is an elevator for use... because we weren't aware there were stairs to climb just to get in to the unit. He told me there are NO elevators.||I knew right then that my Mother & I were going to have a rough week. :(||Mention that concern to front desk to be told the reservation was non refundable. Which... it was spring break in Orlando and over 3k cruise passengers were all scooping up anything available... so.. we were pretty much stuck.||We were given a map of the property...and it's amenities. ||When looking at the map.. I realize that most of the amenities I booked for are not even on site. The only amenity actually ON THIS SITE is the standard resort pool. (Which is decent... but closes very early, like 530 each day). ||What we REALLY booked for.. the Waterparks, restaurants, sushi bar... we're not on property. ||They have "sister properties " in the area... and you're welcome to use their amenities. 1 is 3 miles away.. etc.||So, you're talking a decent drive or walk. Remember... traffic is crazy here. A 3 minute distance can be a 30-40 min drive.||So... in order for us to do anything.. we are looking at battling the massive staircases 40-80 steps... trekking to and fro our car up at the parking lot 1/2+ mile walk... and travel. ||Not good for bad knees, hips, and scoliosis. Actually, un-doable.||So... I see in the paperwork they gave me.. that you can rent golf carts. I call the front desk and ask if we rent a golf cart could it be parked at the actual unit. YES!!!!!!! ||Woohooo... I think I've found a half of a solution.||I call the number they gave me to rent a golf cart. No answer.. so I leave a message. ||Fast forward to Day 2... and I've never heard back from anyone. So I call again.. and again.. 6 times! No answer. No call back.||Day 3 or 4 in to our stay.. I message the front desk that we've tried for days to get a cart and no one has responded...... I received a "generic" reply back. Basically "I'm sorry you're having issues..etc etc". ||No solution or assistance given.||Long story short on that... we never got a call back or an answer for our entire stay. So... we never once got to use any amenities the entire stay. We just couldn't do it. My Mother left the unit 1 time in the entire week. & I the same. Both of my knees were on fire and killing me just from the checking in....and having to trek the stairs inside to keep up with cleaning etc after the teens.||The teens/young adults were able to come n go.. no problem. The went to Disney, Universal, both about a 1 hour drive from the property. ||They tried to go to the Waterpark with the lazy river... at 5:20pm...and we're told it was closed for the day. * it also closes at 5:30.||Many guests were complaining about the pool and Waterpark closing so early. One fella was hollering at the front desk "I pay $8k a month to be here and yall close our only pool on site down 4 hours before dark!!!"||I am glad that I got to see my boy for the week. I am glad the young ones had a good time. ||However, I am sad that my mother and I missed out on going and doing and making memories with them.||At least is was a very Beautiful unit to be held up in.||Although I had both my knees wrapped the majority of the time..and my mother was eating BC powders like candy still trying to get over the walk and climb on check in day. :(||||My problem here... is with the advertising/disclosure. ||It needs to be made CLEAR that parking is some distance from your actual dwelling. NOT "in the driveway or garage of the home" as advertised *see picture *.||Also.. they need to be more clear about the amenities they advertise...and where they are actually located and how far away etc.||They should honestly just not even advertise golf cart rentals and shuttle... bc for a week.. I was not able to get either. Never an answer or a call back.||They definitely need to also advertise the amount of stairs required just to enter the unit(s) and make it clear there is no elevator for those with special needs.||The lady at the front desk when I checked in was pleasant, polite, friendly. The maintenance man (or whatever he was).. was all the same!||Both very nice & personable.||||This is a very Beautiful property that some kinks need to be worked out on. & disclosure needs to be had.||||The highlight of our $2k+ week was on the very last day... some hot air balloons came over property and we got to watch them from the living room window. ||||Please update your listings to better clarify the situation. Not everyone is 18 years old and in perfect condition. I'm only 42... I enter beach houses for my job...and can do that.. but the trek and the amount of stairs *with no landing...

Bear’s Den Review 3.5 stars out of 5 ||5 Bedroom, 6 Bath 985 Jack Nicklaus Ct. Reunion, FL||||Stay 10/15/21 – 10/25/21||||In general, the home we stayed in was beautiful. It was well laid out for a large family (ours was 9) but we would consider it a “high end” home, not a “luxury home”. ||||Staff was very accommodating, polite, professional, and helpful when asked to respond. ||||However. there were many problem areas within the home that demonstrated ownership did not “invest” the necessary time or monies on a number of items that would have made the home much more comfortable, greatly enhanced our stay, and been worthy of a “luxury” designation. It was also clear that the protocol used to prepare the home for occupancy was sorely lacking. Preparation and oversight on the details were missing. We account for them here in hopes management will take note for future guests, and that future guests will be aware of the issues we had as a result of our stay with the home.||||First, the home is not properly pest controlled. Even in a semi-tropical climate like Orlando, there were far too many millipedes and other insects that were present inside the home upon our arrival and during our stay. It is clear pest control is not a priority, was lacking prior to our stay, and during our stay. The landscaping also looked un-kept and was not maintained anytime during our 10 days. ||The mattresses were sunken and soft and reminded us of cheap ones used for dorm rooms when in college. (Certainly not the type of high end mattresses expected in a pricey “luxury” home. ) There were no blankets of any kind anywhere in the home. There were no additional linens or towels. (Staff did provide additional towels after the washing machine broke down – see below) The pillows provided were also cheap and not up to higher standards for this level of pricing.||Appliances were not checked for working order prior to our arrival. Any thorough preparation and review by staff prior to our check-in would have noted several items needed repair, maintenance, or replacement. For example, the washing machine wasn’t working and had to be replaced. (Staff did promptly replace it after we called). The dryer didn’t dry well and also likely needed to be replaced. The microwave and refrigerator had warning lights on when we arrived and never got fixed. The freezer door handle was loose and not attached properly. The kitchen sink faucet was loose and leaked water throughout stay. Several of the gas burners on the stove were not working properly and could not be used during the stay. ||||Although the kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of storage, it would have been nice to have a few additional items to make the kitchen complete. Among those would have been a keurig coffee maker, waffle maker, and a griddle. And although a broom was provided (one for the whole house), curiously enough there was no dust pan.||||The house also lacked trash cans for each room and area. The only ones provided were in the kitchen and very small ones in the bathrooms (way too few for a house this size and for the number of guests). Trash cans were needed in each bedroom, common area, patio/bbq, theater and recreational room, and garage. (We had to go buy inexpensive trash cans to provide those needed) Another item that would have been very helpful to have and often found in luxury homes, is a high end vacuum cleaner. None was provided.||||The pool was beautiful and heated. However it was very dirty upon check in and never cleaned until we called to have it done. (It should have been sparkling clean upon our arrival.) The pool filter/equipment was leaking heavily when we arrived as well. Obviously not checked out and signed off before our arrival. After calling to alert them, staff did respond immediately to repair it, and it worked properly the balance of our stay. ||||There were plenty of flat screen televisions and they all worked properly. However, the internet to the home went down several times during our stay making the televisions inoperable. In some cases internet was down for hours and there were no storms or lightning during any of our stay. || ||The air conditioning (A/C) worked wonderfully! The home was equipped with two units. One unit for upstairs, and one unit for downstairs. In fact, we would give the A/C a huge thumbs up and certainly is at the level of what you would expect for a luxury home. However, the water heater situation would not receive that same kind of rating. It is clear this is where ownership went “cheap” again. Either the water heater is too small for this size a home, or there should be two installed. Getting hot water upstairs sometimes took 15-20 minutes. Hot water would also run out fairly quickly. Again, completely unacceptable for this price point of a home.||The garage was clean and able to handle two cars, but it would have been nice to have at least one garage door opener. (Again an amenity you would find in a luxury home but not present here).||||Another rather annoying problem was the toilet seats in most of the bathrooms were two sizes too small for the actual toilet. In fact, in one case, the seat was actually broken. This problem was particularly true for the master bath toilet seat. It’s as if they went out and bought cheaper (smaller) toilet seats that did not fit the toilet to save money! ||||An additional item also needs to be mentioned that was very frustrating. Bear’s Den Resort is evidently a very small part of a larger development. There were several occasions while coming through the gates that the security officers claimed they were unaware that Bear’s Den even existed and would not recognize the permit card given to us by management to hang on our car rear view mirrors. As a result, the guards would delay our entry because of their lack of training. ||In conclusion, the homes were not built and equipped to “luxury” standards. Second, the homes are not maintained to luxury standards. Third, there is a significant lack of detail and oversight in preparing these homes for occupancy. Much work needed to be done to bring our home up to luxury status. Attention to “details” is always the one thing that elevates a property from 4 stars to 5 stars. And this was the case with our home within Bear’s Den. ||||Although the home was quite nice as described at the beginning, the problems detailed above made the stay difficult, uncomfortable, and frustrating. We would not stay here again until standards, equipment, and maintenance were elevated to the level these prices are demanding. However, if fixes were made, we would...

The privately owned properties are great - lots of space, great appliances, amazingly comfortable beds and a wonderful pool area however it's not a resort because there is only one pool available*, no grocery store on site and the *amenities officially offered at Spectrum and advertised as such are in fact at Encore Resort which is a 5-10 min drive away from Spectrum.|Unless you have a car to drive to Encore for overpriced groceries or drive 12 minutes to the closest supermarket i.e. the busiest and most disorganised Wallmart that even the locals complain about, you are stuck with nothing in close reach.|Not even salt, pepper or tea bags are provided in any of the properties at Spectrum because according to the Club Manager, "owners don't want rodents". Guests are also told prior to arrival that grocery packs/welcome packs cannot be provided ahead of checkin but after we checked-in and having spent an appalling 3 hours in Wallmart (following a 5 hour drive from Miami) we were informed by the Club House Manager that in fact grocery packs can be pre-ordered!|The property owners are so let down by the incompetent team that "manage" their homes and the resort that they purchased properties on.|If I could give 0 stars for the service we received I would.|Whatever you do, do not stay at Spectrum resort if there is a threat of a thunder storm. The Club House manager took it upon himself to close the pool area for over 4 hours because of a lightening strike 12 miles away. Suffice to say no rain, no wind, no lightening and no thunder came anywhere near Spectrum. The Reunion waterpark and pool which is overlooked by Spectrum opened as did Universal and Disney but the jobsworth at Spectrum wanted to play God it seems much to the annoyance of not only me and my family but others that wondered what he was playing at. He should upgrade his "lightening app" to one that is more reliable, get an understanding of weather patterns, find it in himself to apply some common sense or confer with somebody that actually possesses some!|The staff only "work" from 9am until 6pm so if there is a problem with one of the privately owned condos/townhouses outside of those hours you can expect to wait at least 5 hours for a response and even then a response that is far from polite. If there is a problem at the weekend or if you have a check-in at a weekend outside of those hours be prepared to be made to feel guilty, unwanted and a burden due to staff shortages!|If an issue arises after 5pm on a week day or on a weekend expect not only to wait 5+ hours for a response but to also receive an intrusive call at 11.30pm suggesting that "you either move now (from a condo that was not rentable according to their own engineers who spent 3 hours in our condo because the aircon had failed) or not at all".|The Club Manager stated in the late night phone call that he was calling at almost midnight but that I shouldn't have expected anyone to answer my emails or calls nor get a response within 6 hours of raising an issue (which was no air conditioning when the outside temperature was over 100 degrees!!) because they were short staffed!|Further, do not believe a word that the Club House manager nor his boss at Rentyl Resorts say verbally to your face nor put in writing. They are a disgrace to hospitality and a disgrace to themselves for not holding themselves accountable and not honouring their promises to guests.|Such a shame that a lovely, quiet, well maintained place seem to put profit before anything else including guest experience by employing incompetent people.|ps, the club house team won't even help book transport to Disney/Universal which is advertised on their website as a service they provide - the staff just send guests an email with a link to a website and leave you to it! By the way, the pick up for the shuttle bus to Disney etc is from Reunion Resort at 8.30am (returning at 7.45pm) and the Reunion Resort is a 35 minute walk...
